I haven’t had any noticeable differences in fuel economy or breaking distance.
Speedo is 2-3 miles an hour slower than the actual speed due to larger size tire. They are 3.3% larger than the OEM tires.

No question about it. Those tires look WAAAY better than the stock lil dingy Goodyear Kevlar ones that come with the PRO now. I have a black 2015 TRD Pro with these same tires on them, and really like the raised white lettering on mine. Yours go good with the white - I would not change them out unless performance issues dictate otherwise. Looks sweet! If I could get an '18, which I still might, I would still have to upgrade the tires on it. And not being too mechanically inclined does not really help me out either. Great video!

Perfect! Nice looking Taco with those wheels and tires, it looks clean. I wouldn't do anything else, just a leveling kit maybe. I paid 950 for a set of four trd pro wheels just like yours, I know how it feels getting them scratched lol.

I’ve been looking to put these on my Tacoma, looks good. You got lucky with Costco not scratching your wheels. They thoroughly scratched the wheels on my wife’s Corolla. Both the wheel rim and the area around the lug nuts got trashed.

I had the KO2s and couldn't wait to get rid of them. Didn't ware well, several flats and vibrations. Got Toyo now and haven't had any issues.

Exactly what I have on my 2015 TRD Offroad. I run40 psi and have 28000 on them with 50% tread left. I experimented from 32psi to 45 psi and found that 40 worked the best. Not a Cadillac ride but much better performance on the road. Definitely need to air down Offroad or might beat you up bad. Raised the effective gearing from 3:73 to about 3:60

This truck is so beautiful! The trd pro decals are expensive but imo they make the truck look wayyyyyy better. Some decals are just too much and tacky but toyota did it perfect with the tacoma decals.

That's why I get the tires and take them to the Mexican tire shop, so I don't go running around lol I have 3's on my Tacoma and going down to 265s in a couple of weeks. This video had me convinced.

Did the same thing at America’s Tire Store. 265 /75 16’s KO2 DT ( new designation for the new tread compound supposedly to increase the tires mileage ). America’s Tire mounted and put the left front on and did compete turning test to make sure there wasn’t any problem. NO PROBLEMS!!! Costco’s thing must be an insurance thing ? Mines a 2011 Tacoma TRD. A slightly expected harder ride over the 265/70 Michelin’s that were on there but that’s to be expected. Your truck looks good. Enjoy!!!

Awesome, same exact set up for my trd pro as well. Nice work going with 265. I went with 285 and they were just enough to rub when doing decent offroading. Ended up swapping them for 265/75/16s no issues

I like the white lettering on these tires, looks sharp, they are good but ultimately I went with Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's as the reviews were much better and the wet weather handling was better as I live in a wetter climate.

Put K02s on my 2020 TRD OR prem. Awesome tires!, big difference in ride and feels. Much smother ride on my truck over crappy wranglers! Good choice, and they look great! I did black letters out, but have silver with black trim.

The white letters are amazing !!!!! The tires overall are amazing. I just put a set on my 1995 Toyota 4runner 4x4 with the white letters. The road noise is less, the gas milage is the same to me, and it handles all situations like a champ !!!! Best tires ever. I switched from Nitto grappler tires which were horrible !!!

Braden, you should have went to an actual tire shop. Costco is for groceries, trampolines and shit, not truck stuff. Truck looks great, either way, but find a good tire shop that wants your business...

I took my Tacoma to the local tire plus and had the tires installed plus alignment since I also put a lift kit with no problems. I wouldn’t take my truck to Costco anyway

I have met two guys who got a Pro for looks. They did not go off road. They were both very sorry for buying them and traded them for the Sport model. The Sport is SO much smoother and quieter on the road. The Pro is for people who love going off road.

Quieter yes because the Pro come with a louder free flowing exhaust but smoother than a Pro no way. Fox suspension on the Pro is smoother on road and off compared to lower model Tacomas.

I have 2017 TRD Pro, like yours, white (wanted cement first choice). Did not pay premium to dealership. Also switched to same tires (285's tried and rubbed). I have additional 1 and half inch lift and 1 and quarter inch spracers. All done by Toyota dealer and at limits for full warranty coverage. Added Diamondback bed cover, RCI rock sliders and hidden Warn winch. I am happy with it all. I am not into rock climbing, but live in mountainous area with uneven gravel/dirt roads/ditches. I have paved drive up to house 1600 ft, two switchbacks, couple of 20% inclines. Tires have performed very well with snow, some ice (did without studded tires last winter). I don't find the K02's especially stiff or noisy.

This is the exact tire and size I just put on my 2020 TRD pro. It’s going out for it’s maiden voyage off road on Tuesday. I had 21k miles on my factory tires. The tires are definitely stiffer.

@@jorgeortiz7612 the factory calls for 30 psi. Which is good for off road. When I first got them installed, the tire guys set it at 40. You can tell the difference.

Bro i loved your truck very nice look, one thing i dont like about tundras’ is the front grill, i wish it has something like GMC canyon or sierra as its crafted in a way that suits the tundra big size front and hood. Thats just my personal opinion, anyway well done, just suggest to add white xenon lights and off road pumper then you’re good to go with this beast.
