People hate it because it is a replacement for variants (which i kinda understand) but as its own thing it is definitely one of the best things in bfn

@R M meanwhile, Gw2 is just a knock-off version of Tf2 without variants. Heck, even without variants, it kinda feels like it. It doesn't mean both games are bad. Both are enjoyable on their own. Also, if I have to be honest, the replayability variants give isn't that good.

While upgrades can completely change your playstyle. You can make captain deadbeard in to a short range character,almost double the time to overheat with snapdragon, Make citron THE tank with health generation,health generation delay and Kinetic Energy. It makes you creative to make new loadouts and changes gameplay a lot.

you can get more speed and distance with dirt bath instead of speedy, but it does cost more usage of grody goop, but it's up to preference. I would love to see this as a series

One idea I had with BFN is that every rare above costume would work like a variant, different weapon suiting the costume, and the legendary costumes would have a different ability. No more legendary upgrades, as they are apart of the costume

I use face bite so it feels like I'm playing as armored twilight chomper, I use the digestion and hot rod upgrades, so if I eat a zombie, the digestion kicks in and hot rod would work so I can sprint away or go after my next victim

Interesting build here. I think a lot of Chomper mains usually find themselves fixated on his Dirt Bath upgrade (which tbh, it is really good.) Also shoutout to giving the Speedy Upgrade some love. A basic upgrade that is massively slept on. It has a lot of good uses that few people realize it's potential.

The trap chomp Well fed Mastication Instead of using burrow to dive in for the kill, you instead turn yourself into a manually detonated trap. You can sit for long periods of time, and swallow zombies faster than GW2 sunflowers try to mercy main people. Pls show build in build video :)

@Dumb Blob looting: gain a certain amount of ammo after dealing a critical vanquish. Calibrate: decrease the charge of each zoom shot when dealing damage with a charge shot. Refresh upon reloading.

I prefer to use dirt bath instead of well feed because dirt bath stack with speedy and can make your burrow almost as fast as brainium basher 9001 and also increase your rate of fire to two chomps per second Instead of 1.66. One last thing is that two chomps per second with face bite increase your DPS to 106

hmm. after thinking about it it makes sense to use this build but just to be sure I got to ask. why not use dirt bath instead of one of those other 3-point upgrades? you get to attack faster and escape faster. the only con would be that you sacrifice some burrow speed.

Dirt bath whilst it does provide more powerful buffs, are not only for a temporary period of time as opposed to permanent, but it involves using 2 abilities at a time when wanting to achieve a high speed with burrow (which for Grody goops offensive potential, using it purely for speed kinda throws away most of its benefits)

Did you know? - unused minigame soundtrack. Did you know in the original pvz, there was an unused minigame soundtrack that was originally gonna be in the zombotany minigames. However, it ended up getting unused. Why popcap chose to remove this soundtrack is unknown.
