Liked your simplicity veena. You can make the world and your life as complicated as you want like Mr. Maithreyan said. Everything he told is true but everyone has a perspective be it old or new. Nothing can be generalised. I dont think there should be a world of general individualism or ultimate freedom. Freedom should be replaced by the world Happiness. If you are happy with your life thats super great, you dont have to be a revolutionary you dont need to be a person with a grand address but with a great smile. Mr. Maithreyan is happy in his own way and Mrs. Veena is happy in her own ways and both beleive firmly in their own views thats why there isnt a big conflict seen. Let your life be happy, not great not grand in whatever way it is. Great interview Veena

I thought we will see some different questions from anchor. The questions was a mere repeat or answers were so stereotyped. It’s not Maitrayan’s fault, it’s anchor’s ability to ask more complicated questions than receiving complicated answers when asked simple questions.

"SIR - Slave I Remain " . What's the need of addressing someone like Maithreyan, who is very progressive, by using the three letter word. It's high time that we have to walk out from that culture of hierarchy. All are humans.

First of all SIR is not an acronym and the meaning "Slave I Remain" is just a colonial conspiracy or an internet hoax. The origin of the word ‘SIR’ shows that it is a shortened form of the Old English word ‘SIRE’ and not an acronym. (‘SIRE’ is a word which used to show respectful form of address to someone who has high social status, mainly a king or something. Anyway the usage of SIR has declined since the 20th century and should be avoided all together...
