My husband was raised in a large mexican family with mostly women and the men expect to basically have everything done for them... the men go to work we do everything else. That's what I've experienced with my husband . I was also raised by a single mother just like my husband. & Where we live in southern california the fact that we got married and have been 8 years had our babies together ... Its rare to see. It's sad but that's still the norm, A lot of single mothers a lot of my gfs that's how their kids are being raised to ... the dads dip out. I'm hoping my sons learn from us creating a healthy happy household for them, and continue that and break that cycle like we have.
