It has been answered. He says We were not there 100 years ago, not going to be there 50 years from now. We are temporary, our relatives are temporary yet our attachments make it so real. I beleive the subject is to be seen from Bhaja Govindams theme. It's to signify the temporal nature of a human and his nature in of thinking otherwise and in his lifetime doing anything for them, even if it means doing wrong things to others. Attachment to God is superior as this is a Bhakthi related subject

Why should you not consider your wife and children as a pratyaya and infuse them with pragna chetanya and later as pratyeka chetana and you can attain kaivalya.Chinmayanand did not have wife and children that’s why he cannot explain yoga sutras from a sansari point of view.
