Bhajan - Kalindi dasi - High School Program

The Dallas youth were invited to perform at a high school as part of a senior project showcasing performances from various cultures. Kalindi dasi leads the singing along with Gopinath and Sri Rupa playing mrdanga and Radha Kunda and Gopi Gita singing backup and playing kartals. All the students end up dancing in the end to a rip roaring kirtan.

Thanks for the info ravi and I know you mean well to inform them for when they go places or to the temple etc... But I think when someone sees/hears this beautiful kirtan they are not worried about their shoes. The joy one see's on their faces when singing far outweighs that. Lord Krishna shall guide their hearts on the do's and don'ts when and if needed. ~Blessings~ BTW: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL KIRTAN!! Where is this and how can one who live in the Dallas area come to enjoy?

Reasons may be either : 1. That Shoes are mandatory inside where mataji conducting program. 2. Those shoes are wore with out knowing the importance of Mridanga (Incarnation of Balram) 3. May be in that location every one moves with the footwear only.May be shoes that devotees playing instruments 4. might use only for programs, as this is public program, as school or university sometimes many not accept our devotees inside with iskcon cultural attire.I am sorry if this any of point may not satisfy you..but my opinion is that I only pray for Krishna such that all over the world harinaam spread and every also follow the standards given by prabhupad.

May the Lord forgive and show special mercy to those who are noticing only the devotees shoes in the video but are ignoring the spiritual vibes released by them and i believe they are not from Hindu backgrounds yet chanting the Holy names of the Lord and then we have Hindus who are making unpleasant commments.
