Again Gen Sundarji proved the difference and held the local Commanders hand. Also, Sundarji proved that he was the utmost astute General ever seen by India or the World. His Brass Tacks made the US sit up and accept that they have no clue but 'He' will over run Pak. They adviced the then Gen Zia to take to criket Diplomacy to defeat Gen Sundarji. Rajiv was down the seeds of distrust that he could take over India and become the Martial Law Administrator. That's whyvthe Op Bras Tacks was called off by Rajiv Gandhi

Tibet is not a part of China . Tibetans have nothing in common with Mainland Han China. Tibetan culture has been inspired by India/ But because of its geographical constrains of being a landlocked high altitude plateau Tibet needs help of either India or China . Over centuries when ever the Mainland Han China became strong China became a sort of overlord of Tibet and when ever Tibet became strong she became free of the Chinese suzerainty. In the 20 th century ,Tibet declared full independence in 1913 but Communist China annexed Tibet in 1951 . China feared Tibet may come under Indian influence. India under Nehru proved to be weak and indecisive and silently acquiesced Chinese annexation of Tibet . Nehru did nothing when in 1951 the Chinese ended any influence India earlier had over Tibet .

Will be a good idea to include the experience of KPS Gill who was SP in Tezpur those days. He was totally disappointed with the PMs address betraying Assam. So instead of leaving Assam as all his colleagues were doing he opened up the police armoury and crash trained many men and women in firing the rifles to obstruct the Chinese forward movement into the plains. Fortunately, having left a message for Nehru, the Chinese returned to their positions.
