This video is a special one, because Kerala style puttu is made by using moode prepared with pandanus leaves. Puttu is usually made by using puttu maker. But here we make it without puttu maker. This moode preparation requires special skill. Usually this moode is used for making kadubu. Other than preparing moode, it also used for puttu, baskets, mats etc. While coming to the preparation method, main ingredients are rice rava and grated coconut. best suitable side dish is Kadalacurry by using red channa grams.
