Usually we GSBsdont add nuggesoppu, the thickness is too much,if you add ginger pl don't add hing, the taste will spoil.

It's nice to have shown our konkani Dali tuoy .I m chitrapur saraswat would like to tell you in Dali tuoy we don't season it with red chillies. Only green chillies are boiled along with ginger in dal. The seasoning is only mustard, hing and curry leaves. Not so much kadi patta Also it's little thinner than what you showed

It's not konkani style.. we just boil dal add green chillis, coriander leaves hing and tadka with ghee mustard seeds,curry leaves and dry chilli..

We do these same typeof sovve almost in all different greens . Palak menthye amaranth or mixed greens same way . Love this becos we dont use onion nor garlic.

It's okay to add more water, not to be thick. Garlic Tadka with or without tomotos. Or with mustard like you did. Ginger, onion optionals & Coriander leaves are must alongside with heeng & coconut oil.

ನುಗ್ಗೆ ಸೊಪ್ಪು ಉತ್ತಮ ಪದಾರ್ಥ.ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಅಲ್ಯೂಮಿನಿಯಂ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ. ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲೀನ ಬಳಕೆಯು ನರಮಂಡಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದು ಆಲ್ಝೈಮರ್ನ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳು. ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Mangaluru side tove we don't use any leaves. We cook dal and boil with green chillis and salt. Season with mustard red chilli curry leaves and hing in ghee or coconut oil
