Doing rhythm guitars with my jcm800 (2203 w/6550s) with the v30 IR on the left and my super lead (50w EL34s) with the greenback IR on the right sounded just huge!!! They blend really nicely together, bravo good sir. Money well spent.....for me at least haha. Thanks for taking one for the team Michael!

Michael maybe you would have some input to the Two Notes guys, can you please propose them the eventuality of adding a slot for loading a speaker impedance response IR (corresponding to all major celestion speakers) along the regular ir loader in their wall of sound and cab m products? that would actually make a huge difference and only then it will sound like actually playing through a real cab and with the real feel. it's what fractal does and why their stuff sound just like an analog setup. I already do this with two instances of wall of sound but would be nice to have that posibility in the cab-m as well for live use. once you add an speaker impedance ir to the chain, you can never go back. it sounds night and day better

Hello Michael, I saw this video about "The Hidden Gem Collection" IR. It seems to be a way to get closer to Steve Vai's sound. However, I question what is the best Two Notes device to use it with a Boss Katana amplifier? And how can I connect to the amplifier, using the Katana distortion? Will it be through send/return ? Using just the Katana and this IR will I be able to get the sound you presented in the video or will I have to add anything else? Regards.
@BigHairyGuitars7 ай бұрын
Hi, you can go headphone out or line out, but you have to see if you can bypass any speaker sim that might be on the katana. Then go into a CabM from TwoNotes.

@@sd76-22 you can use an ir loader people like two notes make one, it's basically a pedal that emulates the speaker sound, or if you used a laptop, you can use a software ir loader, usually in a daw, but you'd need studio style monitors (speakers) to listen to the result. If you plugged your digitec into a ir pedal and then your peavey, you wouldn't like the sound because it's a gtr speaker into a gtr speaker, and it's not good. Myself, I use a helix ( same thing as your digitec) but it can load ir's , and use 2 powered PA speakers to amplify it, because they're full range, they work like studio monitors. I hope that's clear enough. 😀
