Well, its finally here! Sorry for the long wait but im happy with the final product. There are a few shortcomings of the vid which im sure you will notice but the deadline i set for myself is very close (upon time of upload) so im going to leave it as is. IMO the issues dont affect the viewing much, hope you all enjoy regardless!!

Q: Why do some runs have longer intro's???
A: I gave longer maps and fly maps longer intros to make them stand out. Towards the end of editing i realised it probs gets a bit tedious. However, the runs already fit into the songs etc etc so i left it.
Q: Run 'x' isnt WR!?
A: It most likely was when they submitted the run in August (or even earlier). Some runs were not WR but rather PB's for some runners which i think is fine. Variety is good

Thanks for the support guys! I like trying new things with bhop videos and I hope this one didn't turn out to be too over-the-top or too slow paced for you guys. I wanted to try and let each song finish in its entirety before moving to the next song. This is because classic compilations sometimes feel rushed to me with songs constantly fading in and out and no breaks in between runs. I guess i was aiming for more a bhop movie vibe than a classic compilation, whether or not i achieved that we'll see. Would love some genuine feedback in the comments so i can improve for a potential follow up vid in the future.

First compilation I gladly looked at without any break. I usually get really bored of compilations because its too many 20-30s maps, you had a nice mix of great runs in different styles and lengths. 10/10 in my honest opinion, this video will be hard to beat in my book!

This is one of the greatest bhop videos I've seen. The runs were spectacular and most of the songs fit perfectly. I loved how you picked like the fast beat EDM shit it reminded me of older bhop videos that used super similar songs, and the chargeup on that beat leading into Aimer's made me nut. Only thing that bothered me was the map introductions were all timed differently and would start fast or take super long. Still a great video and roger is the only person that I've seen put actual effort into a bhop video and not just slap 15 runs together.

No, noone in this video uses AHK or any form of scripting, that would be considered cheating. Just lots and lots of practice. The demos/replays are smoothed somewhat by SourceDemoRender, but not in a way that makes what the player did look different.

used to be, only one that comes to mind rn is fuckithops which is a 50slot eu server. most of the community is broken up into different whitelist servers at the moment. Momentum Mod should fix that though

Can someone please explain to a noob like me... what is the minimal dpi needed to do insane stuff like these guys? I normally play with 800edpi and I find even surfing difficult, cannot imagine what these guys are using.

Dpi shouldn't really matter. Your ingame sensitivity does though. I use 400dpi and 3.5 sens

@@aiGeis All good, as long as you have enough mouse room for low sens i say stick with it. But if you are trying technical maps with a lot of spinning/flicking or you haven't got the room to move freely i would say avoid it if possible. depending on how you play low sens can cause rsi very easily

Also worth noting, ontop of what roger said, you can still get rsi at any sens if you're not careful and play way too much. A good effective dpi range is anywhere between 1000 and 2000. (kinda depends on what space you have) Strafe players like Frizz play on the low end (Frizz plays 2.5 @ 400, 1000edpi), and technical players who do lots of spins and flicks like Makmak play on the higher end of that (Makmak plays 2.7 @ 750, 2025edpi). But honestly most of the top players play within the range of 3 @ 400 up to 4 @ 400, so between 1200 and 1600 effective dpi.
