A lot of the really off-the-wall tricks players can do are so fast and technical that anyone unfamiliar with Ultrakill would have no idea what they're looking at, but "You can parry this man" is clear as crystal. Especially since "this man" is a giant the size of a skyscraper. Meanwhile, the start of the segment implies that the game has many, MANY other VERY COOL THINGS the player can and will do.

Heaven didn't like that and sent Gabriel down to kill him. EDIT: Minos was already in Hell for a while and only began converting Lust into a paradise after Heaven was thrown into a civil war.

Minos has been in Hell for a very long time, it was only when God himself disappeared and the angels were all having a panic attack/civil war in heaven that Hell had the opportunity to reinvent itself. Gabriel only showed up *after* Heaven got their crap together. Minos tried to plead reason with Gabriel but Gabriel sucker punched him.
