I have a Hungarian High Power FEG P9R in a white metal (not sure what the metal treatment was but i think it was done by the Israelis and read that half were this white metal and half were black) and it has a Python ribbed slide. The trigger is horrible 12lbs pull and needs help and I assume it needs all new springs. I'll send an email.

I bought a used Hi Power that was hard chromed. I initially thought I was looking at a stainless gun with a semi-flat finish. Nope, hard chromed. A gunsmith clued me into the fact that FN allegedly didn’t make the Hi Power in stainless. Don’t know if that’s the case with your pistol or no. If it is, you can have the hard chrome finish stripped if you so choose.
