In 2018 rejoined BJP and in Pranalike he said he will reopen lokaayukta in 24 hours soon he come to power. In 2020 he became chief minister against BJP party's Siddhanta. He started adjustment politics with Siddu and did not reopen lokaayukta. Only because of our court lokaayukta came back. If he would have given good governance BJP would have sustained him and come back to power. He utterly failed there as well.

Amarji, I fully agree with your points and like to add some more points 1. Negligent attitude towards party cadres when there was crisis like Hindu killings in Shimoga, Udupi etc. 2. Gross and blatant corruption. The charges made by Congress were not false. This is due to "Operation Kamala" which lead to corrupt and inefficient persons gaining key portfolios. 15 out of 17 Bombay birds have been accommodated in key ministries and wholesale looting took place. Neither state leaders nor central leaders took corrective steps even when there were loud allegations several times. 3. No notable achievements in developments. No new projects, no good schemes for farming community 4.We wanted Yogi like CM, where is such person with such guts, integrity and commitment. 5. Off course, five freebies announced by Congress attracted lower level voters like rural and urban poor. 6. More than usual, minority votes went en-moss to Congress stealing even from JDS. Over all, even though Karnataka voter did not want Congress, they are forced to choose them when there is no alternative.
