WHY?! Why should I spend 2 months of my life sitting like a totem in the class, when I can simply write "ac circuit voltage and current over capacitor" in the searching box, and watch one of the easiest explanation I have ever seen!

Hi, I’m thinking of hooking up a real circuit to measure the current and power with a clamp meter that can measure power. I’ll be using a non polarised cap and limit to around 0.5A current. Just want to see if the power is actually zero. Will any type of non polarised cap work? Since I’m connecting phase and neutral directly to the legs of the cap, I want to be careful. Thanks
