Happy to share this video on my #Bosch #dishwasher which I had recorded some time back after I ditched some of my aluminium utensils and kadais and switched over to the steel ones. I wanted to share my experience of the ease of cooking in the steel kadais( which are sandwich bottomed as well as induction friendly) without them getting stained and also the convenience of washing them in the dishwasher efficiently.
I was also keen to show a full load of stained steel utensils using a #FinishPowerBall (tablet) in a Eco Program cycle of 50 deg with Vario Speed option.
My other videos Full Demo shows "Intensive program cycle without vario speed" and Quick Demo shows "Intensive program cycle with vario speed option:"

The video was quite helpful in the terms of clearing my doubts and misconception, but I do have a query which I would like you to answer. Ma'am, what is the overall monthly cost of the dishwasher salt, rinser and soap(and also electricity)? Is it economical? Can a middle-class family afford dishwasher?
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Sangeeta, thanks for watching the video and commenting. Please watch my other videos (the entire video till the end) in which I have explained the pros and cons, power and water consumption, etc. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXKze2Bmp8SGorc kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4Osp2eYqq57qqc Regarding power, salt, rinse aid and detergent consumption I have answered to several people's queries. You can find them in the comments section of the videos and my replies. However I am sharing once again with you. Assuming one cycle everyday of the month with mix of both short and long cycles (15 short cycles and 15 long cycles each month), the cost approximately works out to Power - 40 units per month. Assuming Rs. 7/- per unit, this can be taken as 280/-. Cost of soap powder, rinse aid, dishwasher salt comes to about Rs. 160-170 per month (Rs. 1800 to Rs. 2000 per year). If you want detergent alone, that should be approx Rs. 100 per month. So the total for power and consumables can be taken as approx Rs. 450/- per month. These are based on my usage and the price of consumables on Amazon. These could vary slightly from time to time. Also soap, rinse aid and salt consumption may increase or decrease depending on the quality of water. If water is better, above consumables consumption will reduce. If water quality is not good, the consumption of soap, etc will increase. Besides you will also need to do descaling once in a while. I am not aware of the cost of descaling as I have not had the need to do it. A dishwasher costs about Rs. 35000/- which is a one time investment. If you just take the monthly expenses as given above, it works out cheaper than what one pays a maid servant for one job in most cities in India. I have given the figures above to the best of my knowledge and experience. Based on this, you can decide yourself on how economical it is and whether it is affordable to have a dishwasher. Today with maids becoming more expensive, demanding and unreliable, more than affordability, a dishwasher has become a gadget of convenience. Operation cost wise, it is slightly more than a washing machine. Thank you.

Shaziya Mirza Sorry for the delay, I thought I had already replied to you, because somebody had asked a similar question. Anodized pots and pans can be washed in the dishwasher but preferably in the low temperature cycle as it is actually a coating on aluminium. On higher temperature slowly the shine will be lost. I hope you are satisfied with my answer. Thank you.

Hi Bhuvana , I know aluminum utensils,silverware cutlery ,wooden spatulas cannot be washed in dishwasher , what about our traditional iron tawas/skillets , idli plates,iron kadhais and pressure cookers , can they be washed in this ? Approx how much is the cost of detergent , salt and rinse aid and how long it lasts for you ?
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your query Akshat. Aluminium and silverware for that matter even brass and copper can be washed in dishwasher but only in low temperature cycles. In high temperatures they get discoloured and hence is not recommended to be washed in dishwasher . Iron kadais, skillets, tavas and pressure cookers can very much be washed in the dishwasher. I have been doing it regularly with good cleaning results. Finish Detergent costs Rs.425.00 per kg, Rinse Aid costs Rs.300.00 for 400 ml and Finish Salt costs Rs.500.00 for two kgs. In comparision Fortune Detergent costs Rs. 200.00 per kg, Fortune Rinse Aid costs Rs.150.00 for 500 ml and Fortune Salt costs Rs.100.00 per kg. All these prices are MRPs, these are available online on Amazon and you may get some good offers from time to time. You even get combined packs of all three items, online. Finish brand is recommended by Bosch, but nowadays they even suggest using Fortune if Finish is unavailable Total expenses and how long these consummables last depends on how frequently one uses the dishwasher. Based on my usage, I spend approximately Rs.1800.00 to Rs.2000.00 on all these three items per year. This amount is for the Finish brand products which I use mostly. Generally detergent lasts longer,although it is dependent on water quality. But salt consumption is very high for hard water. Mostly detergents lasts for 3 to 4 months or sometimes more. 500 ml Rinse aid and 1 kg salt lasts for about 6 months for me. Other than this my power consumption for dishwasher usage is about 40 units per month. Thank you once again for watching my video and asking your doubts. Sorry for the delayed reply. Hope I have been able to clear all your doubts satisfactorily.

HI Bhuvana Mam , thank you so much for your detailed reply (I have become your fan now) , I am completely clear of all the doubts that I had in my mind. And I went ahead and ordered for Bosch Dishwasher. I have 2 more questions , it would be very nice of you if you could resolve these. 1) I am in search of LG Tromm front loader as yours but I couldn't find it , I have IFB since 8 years now wanted to switch over to LG DD machines.Someone told me these are not available now in India , did you purchase this one from abroad ? What was the price when you purchased it ? 2)Where can I get Vinod steel pressure cookers ?

Thank you so much Akshat for your appreciation, I am humbled. Most people would call me crazy for being so meticulous and always looking for perfection. Congrats on booking a Bosch Dishwasher, you are going to love and enjoy using it! Mine is a November 2008 model LG washing machine 10485TP. I purchased it for Rs.24000.00. I didn't know that TROMM was something special. I purchased based on my requirement, budget and availability that time. I think they have discontinued this model now. Btw mine is not a direct drive one, but a belt driven one. It is also not an inverter motor. I checked out some new models on LG website. There are plenty of models available now with much more features like inverter motor, direct drive, 6 motion, additional spin of 600 rpm(which is actually very useful, I used it a lot in my earlier Samsung Front loading machine), and more temperature options. I found one particular model which is almost similar to my model, which would suit your needs. Going by the buyer ratings on Flipkart, this model appears to be popular. Please check this out - LG FH0G6WDNL42 and FH0G6WDNL52 which are almost identical with a difference of chrome on door in the first model. Please check out on LG website, compare models and price. But also check out the rates on Amazon and Flipkart. VINOD brand pressure cookers and their other utensils are available online on Amazon. Home Centre stores keep some VINOD saucepans and few utensils but with their own label and carton. But I bought my pressure cooker and kadais from Amazon. You check out for models, sizes and type of dishes/utensils on VINOD website. They have a very good collection. Because VINOD utensils and pressure cookers are not only cooking friendly(leaves very little residue in the bottom of kadais) but also get cleaned and washed very well in the dishwasher. I hope I have been helpful in resolving your queries. Thank you very much.

Bhuvana Mam , Thanks again for such an enlightening explanation in detail and moreover you took efforts to shortlist the WM model for me which is really commendable and I am simply amazed !!!! the way you explain things , your speaking skills reminds me of my English school teacher when i was in Don Bosco School.Really mam very few people possess the technical knowledge and insight about appliances and you have that. I also learned operating induction after I saw your demo , I still remember when I first boiled milk on induction and it was a disaster lol , but not after I saw your video. Regarding people who thinks that you are crazy for perfection they themselves are good for nothing coz they cannot compete and learn things so we should deliberately ignore such poor souls.And, please carry on such useful videos useful for many. I myself is a tech savvy person so I keep on hunting gadgets and videos and gain knowledge. My dishwasher is getting delivered tomorrow I am so excited and looking forward for its first use.(I have got a new home and shortly getting married So I am getting all appliances.) Mam by any chance do you have any experience yourself or your friend's experience about inbuilt Italian burner gas hobs of brands like Faber,Kaff,Glen,Elica etc , coz I am getting kitchen done and planning to get one installed.Some people say it has sloe flames,high gas consumption, not suitable for high temperature Indian cooking/vessels blah blah !!!!. But I need your views on this than only I will finalize. Thanks again indeed.

Regarding the hob, I am sorry to say that neither me nor any of my friends have one. I hope to get one in my kitchen some day. I am therefore unable to help you as a user. But I shall definitely help you by doing a survey of the hobs mentioned by you. Will get back shortly. Thank you once again.

@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 6 жыл бұрын
Azaam K. G. Thanks for liking the video. The power consumption of my dishwasher model ranges from minimum 0.8 to maximum 1.6 units per cycle. This should be more or less same for most models and brands. Finish brand detergent is ₹425/- per kg currently. You may get it cheaper online. In comparison tablets are expensive in India. I bought it abroad. So I am not sure of the prices here. Anyway you can check it online or you may find tablets in some big super markets. They are better if used in longer programs. Thank you for watching and also for your query. Hope I have answered satisfactorily.

Namaste Bhuvana Ma'am. I am using BOSCH dishwasher with FINISH salt, rinse aid and detergent. I use 65 degree 55 mins cycle usually. From last 2 cycles I can see white stains on my vessels can you please advise what could possibly have gone wrong? I tried the limescale remover yesterday.
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 6 жыл бұрын
Namaste Sridevi! From what you have written, I feel that the problem being faced by you could be due to the hardness of water. Since hard water has dissolved salts, these get precipitated on heating and coming in contact with a metal surface. The white stain you get on dishes is the scale deposit of this precipitation. Please try increasing the salt setting so that more salt gets used and the water becomes somewhat soft. This could definitely give you better results. If this does not give satisfactory relief then try using low temperature cycle as much as possible and use high temperature cycle only when absolutely necessary. The amount of scaling (white film) increases with higher temperature. Of course, this is not a correct advice as you should be able to use any program cycle without any restrictions. You can try to get the hardness level of the water in your area (in fact in your house) so that you can set the salt and rinse aid consumption according to that. This should soften the hard water sufficiently to get good results without scale deposit. Hope this answers your query. Thanks once again and hope that your problem gets solved.

@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Smritilekha, generally tablets give better results than detergents as they are a combination of salt, rinse aid and detergent. But yet you can have the problem of white stains if your water is hard. It is better you get your water hardness tested so that you can accordingly adjust your salt and rinse aid setting. Watch my video on water hardness, I have explained everything in detail in that. Click here to watch the video :- kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5urhoStjZ1lopY Hope you get your problem solved. Thank you.

@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Soumya, I am sure you have adjusted your salt and rinse aid levels, based on your water hardness. Hardness is an important aspect in cleaning. Next, important thing is correct placement of soiled dishes. Place heavily soiled dishes like milk, tea vessels and coolers on the lower rack only and in the periphery where the water spray is more as compared to other places. Always choose longer high temperature cycles when you have more soiled dishes. Also use the right brand and quantity of detergent based on degree of soiled dishes. Also see that the soiled dishes are not too dry while loading. Follow these and see if you find any difference. Else you can write to me your specific problem giving more details. Thanks.

mam can u tell whether food sticks in vinod brand steel utensils, as they r steel so chances of sticking food is possible. how us vinod brand utensils?
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your query Pallavi. Generally tendency of food particles getting stuck to the bottom of steel utensils is quite common. But because Vinod Brand kadais and saucepans are sandwich bottomed, they are quite thick and hence level of sticking is very less as compared to those steel utensils with thinner bottom. Also if used carefully, especially on induction cooktop where the heat can be controlled better than gas stove, you can even avoid any food particles getting stuck at all. You can use it as if it were a non stick, on low heat. This makes cleaning verfy easy both manually as well as in a dishwasher. I have been using various Vinod brand utensils for more than a year now,on gas top as well as induction and washing them in the dishwasher and am quite happy with them.

Hi, Doesnt it work without soaking? How long dishes to be soaked. My dishwasher is not cleaning as yours, what might be the reason.tea pots are not cleaning at all.
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Avinash, yes soaking does help in softening the grease and grime from more soiled utensils. I generally accumulate a load full of used dishes and keep them well immersed in water until before loading them in the dishwasher, as my machine does not have pre wash option. For cleaning of tea pots, milk and curd utensils, soaking is the best option. Unsoaked tea pots will be dry and hence in spite of hot water spray, the stubborn stains will not be fully cleaned in the dishwasher. The tea stain will only be partially gone as there is no scrubbing involved in the dishwasher. Also just make sure you arrange the more soiled utensils in the periphery of the tray where the spray arms have more holes thus spraying more water than the other places. Try doing this and your problem should get solved. In case there is some stain still remaining, just clean them under running tap water with a scrubber as I have shown in this video. Thank you. Hope your problem gets solved after this.

Hi Archana, you need not use rinse aid if you're going to use only tablets always. You can then set your rinse aid level to zero. Rinse aid is basically used for drying dishes. Drashti Bhatnagar thanks a lot for your comment. I agree that in Indian cooking many dishes the utensils get burnt or leave a hard residue. If you have such utensils, and if they are kept soaked in water till loading in dishwasher, the burnt or hard residue will become soft and the machine could clean to maximum extent. If at all anything remaining, it would be very soft and can be removed by mild rubbing. Many people may not find this acceptable. But we have to remember that dishwasher does not do any manual scrubbing of utensils, it just sprays soap water and hot water. No machine will remove burnt and hard residue irrespective of what companies claim. Still it does a fairly good job of removing medium to heavy residue (not burnt or hard) from utensils if a few simple things are followed. Even a maid cannot clean hard or burnt residue as cleanly as we would want. With increasing problem of getting good maid servants these machines are slowly becoming popular in Indian household. Unlike a maid servant, the machine does not take any holidays and can work even during night after dinner when we are watching TV or relaxing or even going out. Coming to your main question, may be my utensils look clean, that's because they were kept soaked after use. But these are not clean but have food particles, oil, grime, etc. Still I have shown some utensils with milk residue and tea residue in my video which I am sure you would have watched. In spite of all this, if you still feel this is a waste and a maid is better, you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. I am happy owning this machine for over 6 years now. With the amount I have saved on maid salaries, I have recovered the cost of the machine itself even after calculating cost of soap, power and consumables. And I think I have washed more vessels in these six years with less water and more hygienically than a maid. And mainly I am free of maid tantrums and troubles. Anyway I just wanted to explain my viewpoint. You are free to accept it or reject it. Thanks once again for your comment and opinion.

@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 6 жыл бұрын
Thanks ammu mummy for the query. You would have seen in my video that dishwasher is not in the kitchen. My kitchen also was already organised. So I installed it in a separately made area for both dishwasher and washing machine. If you do not have space in your kitchen for dishwasher you can keep it somewhere else near your kitchen like a wash area, etc. You do not need much space, it is same like a washing machine. about 2 feet width X 2 feet depth X 3 feet height. You have to arrange for a permanent water connection (like we do for water heaters) and a water drain outlet. I think these are not difficult to organise with a little bit of work and modification. Regarding your final point, it is not exactly like refrigerator, that does not need water supply and drain, this is more like a washing machine which needs running water supply and water drain point. Thank you and good luck.

Hi Zeinab, this machine is for washing, rinsing and drying. Burnt food stuffs can be removed in intensive cycle, with proper placement, and if the water quality is soft. If it does not get removed fully, at least most of it will get removed or it will get soft and you can scrub it lightly under running water (like I have shown in this video). Thanks.

Hi Geetanjali, it is not safe to wash non stick in dishwasher. In the long run the coating will wear off. Aluminium can be washed only in low temperature cycle as it will blacken. Manufacturers do not recommend washing aluminium in the dishwasher. But whatever few aluminium cookware I have I wash in the short duration 29 minute cycle in my Bosch dishwasher. You can watch the video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oamup395gdKBq8U Best is to shift slowly from aluminium to stainless steel. In the last few years I have changed my cookware to suit my dishwasher. leney jose Thanks for your comment and observation. Quite a few people have pointed this out earlier to me as well. I have replied to them too. In fact this is my fourth video on dishwasher. In case you have time, please go to my channel and watch the earlier videos and the comments. The vessels look clean because they have been kept soaked in water till just before loading. If you do not do this, you will not get efficient cleaning in the dishwasher. What you do not see is the oil and grime in the utensils. The dishwasher does not do any manual or physical scrubbing, it just sprays hot soap water and hot water on the utensils through jets from rotating arms. So you cannot load utensils with dried up food residue, but load them after soaking in water. In fact my earlier videos had more clean utensils, and in this video I have shown utensils with visible milk residue, tea residue and also idli plates with idli residue. I am sure you are able to spot them while loading and how they look after cleaning. With servant maids becoming increasingly scarce and difficult, dishwashers are slowly becoming popular in Indian households, and with a bit of learning and the correct usage and loading of utensils, we are able to get them cleaned at anytime of day or night (without holiday) in a hygienic manner (untouched by hand) and with economical use of water. If after watching my videos, you still feel I have loaded clean utensils, you are entitled to your opinion. Thanks once again.

But washing would not have been affected because of that. Please check and let me know your water hardness once again. Because 740 is very high, which means your water is very hard. Salt has to be adjusted to maximum for this. Try doing that and run your dishwasher. If it is still cloudy please let me know. Check if the technician did any salt setting. Also go through your manual, I am sure they would have explained everything in that. In case you still have problem, please let me know, I will try to help you. Thank you.

Hi Divya, if you get white patches it is because of hard water. Hope your water hardness is known and the salt and rinse aid setting done accordingly. Please increase the setting of water hardness of your water is very hard. Also try using different detergent. In spite of all these, you get white patches, then you could try putting 1/2 tsp of citric acid along with detergent during every wash. This should help in getting rid of the white patches. You could adjust the quantity of citric acid more or less based on how effective the white patches get reduced or eliminated. Good luck. Thanks.

For emergency can we use edible salt and vim liquid for washing utensils ???
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Amritraj, Edible salt has iodine and other things like anti caking agent, etc. The softener in dishwasher needs pure salt. So please avoid using edible salt. Regarding using Vim liquid, that is a definite NO for dishwasher. Hand wash liquids produce lot of foam. They will produce lot of foam inside the machine, which can clog and harm the performance. But I've shown a method of using 1 or 2 drops of liquid with baking soda in one of my videos. This is just a temporary solution and cannot and should not be used on a regular basis, else it can damage the machine. Click the link below to see the different detergents being used in my Bosch dishwasher with their results. Also there is a video showing the temporary detergent substitute. @BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Cheryl, the mechanism in dishwasher is very simple. There are 2 racks inside the machine. Each rack has a rotating spray below it with nozzles. You stack soiled, greasy and dirty utensils on them. You add detergent in a detergent compartment. Then the dishes are sprayed with soap water first through 2 spray arms one below upper rack and one below the lower rack. Since the spray arms are below the rack, the utensils have to be kept upside down. Then they are washed with soap water for some time and later the water is drained. Again the utensils are sprayed with hot water (there is heater inside) and are washed to remove the dirt and grease. Then finally they are rinsed and dried giving totally clean and dry vessels. I have made several videos on dishwasher alone which you can find as a playlist in my channel. Please check them out. I am sharing the link below. Hi Tanvi, wait for the company technican to come and install. I would advise you not to open before he comes. The wetness could be due to rain. Please let him come and install. If you get a damaged piece, they will replace it. So please be patient.

Hello Ma'am, We have recently bought a dishwasher and the videos uploaded by you have been very useful, thank you very much. I am using crystal tablets, with rinse aid setting at 1 and salt setting at H2. The water we get is soft water and I generally use the eco mode for cleaning. However, the dishes seem a slightly slippery after the cycle is over. Is this normal or should I change something?

There is so much of dirt on the ladles after washing. If you have to manually clean them then what is the use of this dishwasher..
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Vinod Kumar, thanks for sharing your opinion. Remember a dishwasher is a machine where there is no scrubbing involved. Just a powerful spray of hot water combined with detergent is what does the cleaning. Once a while a couple of highly greasy dishes/starchy ladles etc. remain partially uncleaned. Those too get cleaned if immediately washed under running water, which hardly takes a minute or two. The best advantage of a dishwasher is you can use it 24x7x365, you get 100% hygienic cleaning of dishes totally untouched by hands, and above all a single load of dishes get washed in less than a 15-20 L bucket of water, thus saving water which is a very very precious resource. Finally buying and using a dishwasher is a matter of personal choice.

@@BhuvanaAdi Thanks for the reply. Wasn't expecting it though. What really irked me was that even though the utensils were dirty, you were still saying see how clean they are. Hello mam, we recently bought bosch SMS66GI01I dishwasher, and we are using IFB detergent with finish rinse aid set at 4 and salt set at 4, we are getting scratch marks on our steel dinner plates. We usually use the dishwasher twice a day of which once we use ECO cycle and second time we use ECO + VARIO ECO cycle. We stay in mumbai and the dishwasher is connected to municipal water which is extremely soft. Kindly let me know where are we going wrong.
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mukesh Agarwal, please avoid using IFB detergent for your Bosch dishwasher. Bosch recommends use of Finish detergent. Even you can try using Bosch detergent. Finish detergent is more suitable for soft water. Also you need to reduce your salt and rinse aid settings to 01, because your water is very soft. Please try this and I'm sure your problem will get solved.

Mam can we wash mixie jars daily in dishwasher? Iam using quick 30 mins cycle only
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Abushek, Yes you can wash mixie jars in the short cycle in dishwasher and in the top rack only, pressure in the bottom rack being higher I wash my mixie jar in dishwasher and I have not faced any problem. Most mixie jars have cast aluminum base which is painted. Over a period of time, the paint is likely to peel off but this has no effect on the performance of the mixie. So you can put the mixie in dishwasher. In case the blades are removable then remove the blades before putting the mixie. This is better. In case the blades are not removable, then okay. Thanks.

Hi Shekar, 1. Food particles can be removed by using correct program cycle. 2. There are many program cycles. The minimum time taken is 29 minutes and the maximum time is 2 hr 55 mins. 3. Less than a bucket of water is required, 9 to 19 litres. Thank you.

Ma'am m here with my first query on using my new dishwasher, it's leaving a soapy touch on the utensils after the completion of cleaning. What could be the reasons??? Nisha.
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 5 жыл бұрын
Sorry Nisha, for the delayed reply. Thanks for your first query. Soapy dishes could be due to any of these reasons : 1. Your water could be very soft. 2. You could have not chosen the right program. Right program depends on how soiled your dishes are. Also more soiled dishes need more detergent while lightly soiled dishes don't. 3. Your detergent compartment should not have any detergent left over, from previous use. 4. Check your salt and rinse aid setting based on your water hardness. I hope you are able to identify your problem and solve it soon.

@@BhuvanaAdi yes ma'am, you rightly said the water in our area is very soft and so very little detergent is needed. Also, m experimenting with different cleaning cycles as per the load and soiled conditions of the utensils, just to understand which combination suits best. I am slowly learning How and where to load and place the utensils respectively depending on their soiled conditions. The technicians who had come for the installation had practically no answers to my questions inspite everything is mentioned in the manual book, which i read afterwards. He has emptied the entire one kg salt into the salt compartment without knowing the water quality. Hope that will not create any problems 😧. Thanks to your detailed videos and the information available on the google that has helped me resolving my queries and clearing my doubts. I have bought bpl 12 place settings dish washer and using fortune products. Thanks once again🙏. Nisha

@@BhuvanaAdi here i am with another issue. I am finding that some of my ss utensils Get greyish film on them after cleaning it the dishwasher 😬. What could be the reason?? Coz the google says that ss utensils should be dishwasher safe, which i never bothered to check since i hand washed them before and never had any issues. Also, no dishwasher descriptions on the Amazon talks about using "dishwasher safe stainless steel". M scared now. Nisha.
@BhuvanaAdi
@BhuvanaAdi 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Nisha, glad to learn that you've started experimenting with various program cycles and also different placement of soiled dishes. You're on the right path, because you are the best person to know about your water quality, degree of soiling in your dishes and the type of your utensils etc. So only you can decide and learn by trial and error about which program to choose and where to place which dishes, to get perfect wash results. It will take some time, but you will be an expert soon.😆 Don't worry about the technician emptying 1kg of salt, it is required for water softening and smooth running of the machine. But if you're sure of the water quality, you can adjust the salt setting to 0 or 1. And if you are going to be using tablet always, you can definitely adjust salt setting to 0, if your is very soft. So nothing to worry in that aspect. Also I'm happy that you're trying to do research yourself with the help of Google and also trying to understand with your manual. That is the best way to get to know your dishwasher. All the best for a good washing experience.👍

Can you tell me if this grey stains are only on some SS dishes or on all of them? Also tell me in which program you noticed this and whether it was a temporary thing, I.e. whether it goes away on using. I can tell you based on your answers. Thank you.

Hi Agu, thanks for your appreciation. Always wipe outside and inside with a side damp cloth. Remove any food particles that could be stuck in narrow gaps inside. Clean the spray arm and filters regularly. If the filters are kept clean, that could also help in keeping the machine devoid of any foul smell and avoid blockages/water accumulation. Hope my answer is satisfactory. Thank you.

Hi Mr. Raju, thank you for your query. Regarding cleaning of milk utensils, I would like to know if you soak them in water after it becomes empty, till it is ready to be loaded. it is difficult to get thorough cleaning if the milk utnsil has tough stains and has not been soaked sufficuently. Probably you can try placing those utensils with stubborn stains at the periphery where the spray arm sprays more water than in the centre. Also you could try running a longer high temperature program for a full load of more stained utensils. As you have seen in this video itself one utensil in which milk was boiled and had stubborn stains had a little bit of residue stuck but being soft, I immediately cleaned it under running water within no time. Hope I have been able to help you with your problem. I am sure you will be able to get good washing results once you are able to identify the problems. Please feel free to write in case of any other queries ragarding the dishwasher. Thank you.
