One most essential thing to our country is an MRO there are so many MRO in other countries in Asia but it is not enough to do maintenance of other customer airlines. When we look at other countries such as India, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam they have their MRO and it is one of the money earning way from other countries to them and opportunities for people who have completed aviation courses and a degree in their countries. But unfortunately in Sri Lanka, there are no opportunities for newcomers to aviation and even people who are completed all exams and courses. So what they doing is give up aviation and do something else or fly to another country to do another job. due to covid and before the covid same thing was happening. Unfortunately, this is happening in our country so many aircraft maintenance courses are conducted by schools so it is too much output than the requirement.Hope CAASL do something with this matter and other hands MRO also a future investment in our country.
