These highlights are indeed biased, but it's pretty much representative of the whole match. Bianca didn't have to do much because Serena pretty much undid herself after seeing and feeling Bianca's power. At 2-0 and after the point where Serena tried to hit Bianca on the drop shot, Bianca turned it on and started rippin the ball really hard like she did at Indian Wells rushing and rattling Serena. Serena felt like she had to serve 120 mph and above at all times because anything 110 and below came back to her with authority. She pretty much double faulted most of the first set and half of the second set. They're not going to show you Bianca winning games on the double faults coz it's boring, and plus ESPN loves Serena. Chrissy Evert pretty much nailed it when she said no one on the tour right now returns Serena's serves like Bianca does. Madison Keys is probably the only other player I've seen that can stagger and push Serena back, but then again she hits harder than half the men on tour. I watched this game about 5 times over and over on my DVR, and I was in awe at Bianca rippin the ball about 4 ft. behind the baseline and Serena could barely catch up to it. Bianca is only 5'7 BTW, but she's built like a brick shithouse. Nuff said...

This is beyond ridiculous. In the first 3 minutes they show 8 Williams points and only 1 Bianca point while Andreescu was clearly dominating right from the start 😀 EDIT: Watched the rest and it didn´t change. This video is laughable and tries to fit the narrative that Serena supposedly "played badly". Which she didn´t. The only thing that was bad was her % on the first serve. The rest was pure domination from Andreescu´s side and even the % on the first serve has to do with Andreescu´s aggressive returns. You don´t feel as free when you know that you HAVE to put the first serve in and make almost an ace in order to not get under pressure with the return.

Although there is an obvious patriotic bias in the making of these highlights, Serena DID have twice as many winners for the highlight reel as Bianca did 33 vs 17. And both Bianca's breaks in the first came off the back of Serena's double faults - not essentially the highest of highlights. And the first 5 games of the second were a litany of errors. The best periods of the match were 01-3-4 in the first and 1-5- 5-7 in the second. But on the whole I agree. Should have favoured Bianca more...she just had far fewer winners to choose from I guess....Although this is not totally unseen before. Often I'm watching the highlights with no concept as to who will win and the score jumps 5 games at a time lol

When players expect there will be an award ceremony in the end. It's common nature. No they don't pre-prepare for other rounds because there's no ceremony involved. But for a final of a grand slam, uhm yeah I think they do and I've seen my fair share of trophy ceremonies. The players who are there often like Federer, Nadal, or Serena can get away with not having to do it as it becomes second nature but for first time finalists I'm very confident they would pre-prepare.

Bianca totally threw Serena off her game....great players do that....its not only have great skills and weapons but being able to take your opponent OUT of their game...Serena gets very emotional when someone steps up like that and throws her...shes not used to it.

There was never gonna be any drama in this tennis match, because Serena actually likes Bianca - ever since the Rogers Cup final. You can see it at the end: Serena's hug was for real, so was Bianca's. And she also said the nicest thing after loosing to Bianca: if someone else had to win this, other than her sister, she is glad that it was Bianca.

This 'highlight' video (along with the shorter version they released) is not any more ridiculously one-sided than I would have predicted from Americans. They're not only incredibly insular and biased, but proud of it. The US Open is unprofessional, and from now on I will be supporting any non-US player on both the WTA and the ATP. My apologies to John Isner, who isn't a typical arrogant American, but I'm really sick of biased fans, media and the US Open itself.

Truth be told both ladies played well. As much as Serena wants to believe she didn't play well, the difference is that Bianca had a plan that worked to perfection.nearly all the time Serena was on the defence.
