Matcha green tea mask is still my favorite deep conditioner after three years and haven’t found anything that I’ve loved more 🥰 I do want to try Twist and Tre Luxe products because I’ve always heard great things about them. And want to try the curlsmith fragrance free line. I’ve like the blue label products from curlsmith and they’ve been great. Great video as always! You’ve definitely guided me all these years 🙏🏼

My fav combo at the moment is the curlsmith moisture memory reactivator and the dippidy do curls gelee. I get a good bit of moisture and good hold. Especially since I live in a humid area.

lol that you don't like spray bottles because I don't even like spray dry shampoo I'm so old school I use cocoa powder mixed with the Airspun face powder or when traveling just the Air Spun Face Powder. I put it on with a fluffy face powder brush and work it through my hair with my fingers, but I have wavy 2B/2C curls that are dark brown and sometimes I get red lowlights and it works great with no light cast from the powder if you work at it.

I tried the Curlsmith co-wash and noticed a lot more hair loss in the shower when I used it... Have been hesitant towards using their products b/c of it. Using Giovanni 50/50 shampoo and conditioner and the weightless leave in. Good results and the cost is good. 24oz of the weightless leave in for $20 is a steal compared to 16 oz @ 40$ for curlsmith products. Giovanni is one of the best dupes for natural hair care.

I actually just use the weightless air dry cream and hold me softly together from curlsmith lol I love both of those products for my hair. Very soft hold which i prefer for my curls. So interesting to see the different combinations though.

I personally believe it’s best to grow your hair with the least amount of products (serums (vegan our,the ordinary hair serum and oils) and only use stylers , mask, protein treatments, leave ins and creams only on rare occasions

For me the I’ve realised the Denman brush doesn’t work as well for me if I just rake my products in, the denman brush just makes my hair rlly fluffy and kinda frizzy or it gives me the same results as if I just used my hands and a comb ( I have 2c/3a btw ) Edit: A better way of saying it is that, it clumps my hair together too much

About the silk vs satin thing. Silk is a fiber and satin is a weave. Silk pillowcase are generally made with a satin weave, which is what makes it shiny. Satin pillowcases that aren't made from silk are usually made from polyester or a polyester blend. So instead the question should be "silk satin or polyester satin"

Dippity do has been my go-to since I bought it years ago per your recommendation. The smell, the color, the shine, the build ability. Everytime I go to Marshall’s/TJ maxx, I buy at least 2-3 at a time, if it ever disappears I don’t know what I’ll do 😂

This is a great video! I'm glad someone brought up the spray leave in conditioners, it seems they are becoming more popular but like Bianca I would rather a cream I can put in my hands. Curl Smith is a good brand and I LOVE the smell of their products BUT they are expensive . I'm looking for affordable products for low porosity hair, if anyone has recommendations, let me know! AlSO for the Gel cream products, is that like a two in one and I don't have to layer another product?

Hi! Some can use ceam-gel as a one and done, but some still need a harder hold gel over top. Honestly, the best affordable gel for my low porosity hair is homemade flaxseed gel. Its basically unbeatable for the price and you can always top it with a harder hold gel if needed. Hope this helps!

I have straight hair(my hair is wavy in my pic because I put a braid in also my hair is growing out the sun in I put) I love watching curly hair things lol. I don’t do the things cuz I have straight hair.I use the ogx coconut miracle oil shampoo and conditioner then after the shower the ogx coconut miracle oil.Then I blow dry my hair because I don’t like to wait 3 hours for it to air dry(it blow dries in 10 min)

This is a good and informative video but it would be great if you didn''t bounce the product around so much while displaying it, and making sure that you show the front of it completely to the camera. I found it a bit difficult seeing the front of the item because you kept moving it around. Perhaps you could qualify the info in the very beginning, letting your audience know that you were only comparing these products for Type 3 hair. You shared this info at the end, and now, after watching the entire video, I'm thinking these conclusions probably won't apply to my hair type. I'm a mix of 4c and a little c....I think! I honestly don't like the Ouidad gels. They don't give as much hold as curlsmith. With curlsmith I can do my hair on Saturday, diffuse, and I'm good for the rest of the week, even if that means occasionally I have a pineapple on Friday due to humidity. I love love LOVE curlsmith. I hate that my hair likes pricey stuff but, if I can get away with doing my hair once a week it's worth it to me.
