What if you want to play along with your favorite songs and want the sound to fill a medium size room? At first I didn't hear a difference from bias fx 2 and bias fx because I had the bias amp 2 inside bias fx already. Because of this video I started messing with bias fx 2 again and have to say it's really great. I used some Celestion IRs different from the one you can buy from positive grid and they really were the game changer for me. Getting tones as good as Fortin Neural DSP now but more versatility that the one trick pony Fortin is for djent.

Hey, I don't play metal or listen to it, but I enjoyed your review very much. You have a great presentation personality. You touched on the cool feature of the looper that most people don't mention - that you can record a loop and tweak your rig against it - with no guitar. It's actually recorded completely clean, so you can apply any effect or profile against it without even picking up your guitar again.

After having this program for a few weeks now I realize it's by far the best amp sim on the market. I was beta testing it back in January but didn't realize what it was capable of back then. Considering using for my live rig with pod HD as an interface and midi controller now.

@@GarrettJPeters thinking about doing some reviews since I have the STL Putney and Fortin amp sims. Wanted to ask you what do you think the best route is for recording screen and guitars at the same time. Do you use QuickTime and then record the audio into the DAW at the same time?

@@shaynestilllife That's awesome dude! I'm not quite sure what's the best route though. I use my OBS streamlabs to record it (don't ask me why :P) It seems to do the trick. I then record my audio in my daw and sync it later (which might be unnecessary). One tip though, It's important to make sure your screen capture is in the same sample rate as your daw. I made that mistake once :P

How are you doing Gerrett? I bought the Bias fx2 ultimate package, had a few issues getting it to run smoothly. Also picked up a couple headrush frfr sounds amazing. My question to you is I loose my touch screen with the desktop and was wondering what differences between the ios ipad top version (I forgot the package name) with amps and effects would I lose? I seen you had the ios iphone version on another video you did. I don't know if that's the same. Any info I would appreciate? Thanks and keep shredding!

For the price this is absolutely a steal. I’ve had toneforge vsts and it’s a nice guitar plugin but just meat and potatoes strictly a amp with 1 delay, 1 reverb, 1 wah and 1 overdrive along with just 3 amps. For the nearly same price of the bias fx 2 that comes with way more options.

Garrett, I just got the Bias FX 2 mobile version, and, after seeing your video on that, and then this one, you gained a new subscriber. I used a Roland keyboard amp for guitar, apparently keyboard amps are Full range, they have a bass and tweeter to be able to play all the notes on an 88 key, it does sound very cool.

How bout that my preset was first up when he searched metallica clean. I hadn't checked the tonecloud since i uploaded it to pull it down on a laptop.
