Darryl I downloaded the demo for bias fix 2, why does it sound like shit when I use it as a plug-in for ableton. It sounds nothing like how everyone does on KZbin.. is it the input gain on my interface? On ableton or the input output on bias fix ??? It sounds crystal clear here.. hmm
@DarrylSyms
@DarrylSyms 5 жыл бұрын
It could be one of many reasons. You’ll need to check your audio settings, interface settings, and ableton settings. Have you tried BFX2 without Ableton using the standalone version? If that works, the problem lies in your ableton settings. It’s probably also best that you contact the appropriate support since I just demo the products 🙂

Hii... great video man....❤️ But I'v some confusion can you please guide me a little? It would be appreciated if you do so... ......... I have a basic Zoom G1four for my tone and i want to upgrade..... So at that price point there are many options that's why I'm confused what to pick.... should i go with a Multi fx processor like Nux mg-30 , boss gt1 or It would be best if i choose Bias Fx 2 ?? Although Bias fx 2 is bit cheaper than those 2 hardware....so should i go for Bias Fx 2 over those? Or they could give me more good quality? I need those for recording guitar sound... please suggest ❤

F me this is mind blowingly awesome. It's New Years Eve 2021 and I just purchased the ELITE version of this software along with a brand new product coming out ( I preordered it) called RIFF which is a way cool guitar audio interface for this software on your PC. I can't wait to play with my new toy when it arrives. I already own the Spark amp as well.

Quick question! Do you think the standard version is enough? Or do you think it would be beneficial to spend the extra money for the elite version etc? I just don’t wanna spend $300 if i can get away with the standard version.
@DarrylSyms
@DarrylSyms 5 жыл бұрын
It depends how many effects and options you want. It’s best you read their site and see what the differences are: bit.ly/2Ndo4zA Personally I would opt for the standard version because I’m not really a man of many effects. However, if you want alllll the toys to play with and all the tones, then consider a higher package. Note that you may not be able to download other tonecloud presets that have elite tools of you are on a lower package

For the same budget I can buy Bias FX 2 or Boss Katana 50, what do you recommend sound quality wise?
@DarrylSyms
@DarrylSyms 5 жыл бұрын
I've never tried the Katana, but BIAS FX will give you HEAPS more options and effects to play with. It depends what you want. Portability? Versatility? More Choice? For me, BIAS FX suits me perfect in my home studio. I sold $5000 of gear in exchange for BIAS FX, and I'm actually more stoked with BIAS FX than I was my "real" rig. I rate it 👍
@xPowerShotx
@xPowerShotx 5 жыл бұрын
Bias FX2 is better soundvice on the computer than katana, with that exceptions if you mic the katana, then you will get the sound we all know katana for. But using the line out thing from katana to interface you have to temper with the global EQ to make it sound good. Where is that settings, I do not know. I was choked the first time I plugged katana into computer. So I did not like the modeling sound on the computer. Its was very different from katana speaker itself, really sounded digital. I will go for the mic as recommended by other when I was saying even bias fx sound better and more naturell on the computer when using the line in. With Bias fx you can basically just plug and play. You have 50 boss effects in katana, but can only use 4 at time. I would recommend 100w instead of 50w, because you have more connections inputs on the 100w. Try out the bias fx2 demo and try it out

You should look at the bar on the right bottom. It is often red when you play. I could hear a lot of white noise. When you turn it down it gets better, but i know,, bias is very quiet compared to other vsts.
@DarrylSyms
@DarrylSyms 5 жыл бұрын
Since I was using a beta copy, it’s questionable whether or not the output meter was true. I always obey the levels in my DAW and they’re never peaking. The white noise you hear is due to electrical interference on my talking mic, which I unfortunately discovered after filming 🤪
@adalbertusignatius4967
@adalbertusignatius4967 5 жыл бұрын
@@DarrylSyms oh ok, so on the recording itself it was no white noise. They can be true it wasnt that bad only because when it just turns red, it doesnt mean its already clipping. But you were at the border. And you cant adjust clipping in the daw. When it clips in the bias software itself you cant compare that with reducing the level on the track in your daw ;).

Biiig differences. In short, Bias Fx is generally more useful unless you want to fine tune the sound of specific amps (way too much effort for me) 😋 You should be able to see all differences on their site. You can upgrade any packages you buy too yes

Hello Darryl, I just found your site today when studying CAGED systems. I wonder if you still use the Cornford Cab set up. I just not sure if the vst is the way to go. Its alway been the latency thing that bothers me. like the channel. cheers
@DarrylSyms
@DarrylSyms 5 жыл бұрын
No more Cornford Timothy, only BIAS FX these days. I’m not sure why many people fear latency? I’ve not had latency issues since around 2012, but that was because I had a really crap interface. Providing you’ve got the right gear, latency should not be a concern. They have a demo you can try on their site 🙂
