Biathlon From the Perspective of the Toughest British Army Infanteers

Each year Nordixon Ski School coaches the British Army's Infantry in Scandinavia. We coach between 80 and 150 soldiers to become competant biathlon and Nordic Skiers so as to compete at the Devisional and Army Championships.
Dixon Creates produced this film to promote the sport to soldiers who can if they chose, as part of their military development, embark on a 3 month development journey to build their character and develop their Operational effect in the field.
We didn't shy away from the fact this sport hurts, which intuitively would appear to be off-putting, rather than a selling point. But it doesn't just hurt, it can be agony, and people should know it, because that's part of the what makes this sport so brilliant. We love the pain, the adventure, and we love the feeling when it's over, knowing we achieved something special.
This is a beautiful sport. I hope you enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed making it.

It is a beautiful sport, you feel free and it is very low impact training in terms of joint loading... and if you do stay on your feet no impact at all!
