I'm a whole lot older than you and I love cutsie things. So when I found your ideas for studying the Word, that just hit home. I have so many notebooks filled with notes. You can't write everything in the margins or between the lines. I think it's a hoot. And the charms???? Wow. love it. Can't wait to see what charms are available. I can only speak for myself, but this makes studying so much more fun.

I recently started following you and have been completely inspired in all aspects of my Christian life. I love your enthusiasm! I did have an idea that might help when adding ribbons or other strings to bookmark your Bible. If you take a piece of cardboard, measure to fit into the spine of your Bible. Then you will be able to glue the ends to the cardboard and can remove them all if needed. Also, with the charms, if you use the cow hitch it may not lay wonky. Thank you & God’s Blessings ❤✨💖✨❤️

I love this idea! I all ready have suede cord in a variety of colors. I have tons of charms & I have a hot glue gun. So I'm definitely going to do this. Thank you so much for sharing. I also love charms!

I know James Avery too and I'm not From Texas but I have know about James Avery since high school and have been collecting James Avery charms for a really long time and love their charms and I have more than one charm bracelet

Hey Faith, I’m a native Texan and I love James Avery jewelry. I have several charms including a teddy bear that my best friend gave me back in high school a long time ago. I also have a few rings one of which has a cross on it and I wear it every time I leave home or when I’m not doing something with my horse. I also have a few necklaces that I can swap the charms around on depending on what I’m wearing or my mood. I noticed that you have the Texas charm on one of your bracelets … I have the same charm. 👍 Anyway, it’s nice to meet someone who loves James Avery jewelry too. TFS

That’s so fun my frist charm was a paper clip with a plastic alien on it… I don’t know where it came from but it was there when I needed to mark a spot in my Bible? From there I placed charms on a ribbon and now have a dozen charm book markers…

These charms turned out beautifully! I'm a scrapbooker/journal maker and I frequently make permanent book markers for my journals, using this method of gluing the ribbon or leather into the spines. I use Barely Arts Glue, instead because I use it for my journals, but the hot glue works well too and it dries quicker! Thank you! ❤

Funny I found this video again, I recently added a “T” charm on the end of my bookmark ribbon in my Bible and I used dental floss, and used a black sharpie to sort of paint the white floss. It’s so sweet looking.

@@HowtoFaithALife I just have them hanging from ribbons (decor). I tied the ribbons to the middle ring of my 3 ring binder in different sections of my prayer journal. One is a silver heart that said blessed with fake tiny diamonds around it. Another is a round charm with birds on it with fake little diamonds around it. Then I have a silver cross & a silver angel charms. I looked on the link on your post for hobby lobby charms, definitely going to order some for my Bible. 🤗🙌
