You have no idea how much ai needed to hear the words that everyone starts as a blank slate. Because it is absolutely true. Seeing others with thick bibles just full of notes and colors can be a bit discouraging when you are just starting out because too many people try to compare themselves to others without keeping in mind that they too were where you* are at. ~♡ Thank you for such great ideas!

You can recycle birthday cards by cutting out the parts you want to use in your bible. This is the best video I have seen about bible journal hacks!

I Loved to watch this Video, where would you open up to your Memos your notes, your under line wouldnt the paint and such block all that is important that the HS has spoken to you with within that Pages? or do you have a method for the journaling of the memos of the scriptures togeather with that method of BJH101? I have bibles over filled with the Word and with notes and memos I never would like to loose it or cover it up? So any suggestions to this within your style journaling God Bless You!

andrea price if you're low on funds why don't you just get a few 50 cent acrylic paints from Walmart, check out the illustrated faith free printables, and just journal in a notebook until you can afford one?

+Robin Manly I honestly didn't measure it. I just cut it to the length that I thought would work best. So if you want it 2 inches or so on each side, I would say cut it to 4-5 inches.

Depends how many coats of paint you use. One coat you can typically read.

I know this is an old comment and you may not see this but I journal in my Bible but not over the words. I can't understand covering the words if you're supposed to be meditating on the Word.

I doubt it. I think the paint is a little too bit extreme lol I just use highlight, crayon or color pencils. I usually do this stuff but in my journal more than in my bible because I can't concentrate as well when my bible is that colorful.

Where did you get the die cuts that you used? I really like the florals. Thank you for explaining about covering the words of your Bible. I have often wondered why you would do that but it makes sense to me now. I’m going to journal my Dad’s Bible that I got after he passed away. It has some of his notes throughout so it’s a very special Bible to me but not one that I read from. Journaling in it will just make it even more special 🙂

Hello, I am sorry to hear about your mum who passed away last week, to answer your question you can use a journal bible. They have additional space in the margins allow you to be as creative as you wish. I might add that they can also be called 'note-taking' bibles, but do use the internet sites. They also vary from work in margins to full pages so you can express yourself whilst creating precious memories to honour your mum. All the best!

My bible journal isn't my reading or study bible. It's a creative book I use :) I don't mind covering things in it because I create anything I want within it. Hope that makes sense!
