Hi, There is a pastor on KZbin who has information about different Bible note taking methods that may give you some ideas. His name is Matthew Everhard. One system he describes is “Miscellanies” which was created by a pastor a couple hundred years ago. It may be helpful with your new Journaling Bible. I use a standard study Bible. I've recently learned about tip ins and so I use this method for prayers, notes, sermon notes, and such. I like having all my notes at my finger tips!

I have never seen those erasable pens. That is a must-have. Thanks for the link!! I am with you on the binder. I use a plain 3-ring binder, with lined paper and divider tabs from Dollar Tree.

The erasable pens over time almost disappears from what I’ve found.

I haven't seen any really good highlighters that erase especially if you bring your Bible with you in the car for any reason while you go shop or anything

The erasable pens are nice... but if the ink gets hot ... it completely disappears.

I'm just learning how to Bible study and everything else that goes with it... I've been watching soooo many videos that I think imma lost now 😮... I bought a new bible but the font is pretty small but this is my fault... I got the csb Bible from #shereadstruth I get the subscription box from them and I so so adore it... Down to the beyond beautiful art work... Love the study notes that some have in them and note sections... I wish you luck n love and also just found this video as well...lol... A Bible journal is something I've been thinking about for a couple of months. I tend to gravitate towards larger notebooks and love the Happy Planner for my daily planner so I can add things to it. But I also like the idea of using a small traveler's notebook so I can use one of the notebooks for sermon notes... way more portable. I'm still on the fence!

Yes, I love the disc binding journals too. But the discs are a bit bulky to carry around with you. The travelers notebook may be a great option for you!

Good evening! I wanted to share how much I have truly enjoyed watching your channel. I stumbled on it 2 days ago when I was looking for creative ways to do scripture journaling. I have journaled my emotions and my prayers for years but I wanted to find a way to add structure to my time and process when I am reading my bible. So, thank you for making this post. Nice🙂 Everyone is different... I like the Traveler's Journal (not necessarilly from the company by that name) in classic size, which you have. Carry it around with a bible in a backpack or bag, all you need. Well done.

I'm disappointed you didn't mention the Happy Planner . Yes, they are expensive, but after you buy one you can just replace the paper. And they always lay completely flat! I love them. I even found a couple of small ones at Goodwill.

I was actually thinking about that. I've tried different disc bound planners and notebooks and I just can't get into them. 😏 I love the idea, I think it's just that I find the disc's a bit bulky and the pages hard to turn.
