1. I have to admit I'm not very fond of the NET as a translation, but I absolutely love their notes! The notes are a window into how translators think, how the translation process works, etc. Perhaps the closest one can get to better understanding the biblical translation process without knowing the biblical languages. 2. I love the layout of this NET Full Notes Bible. It seems to reflect how the Jewish rabbis would place (Talmudic - Mishna and Gemara) commentary around the (Hebrew) Bible/Tanakh.

I agree. The NET version can read a bit awkward sometimes, but the notes really light the way.

I love the NET full notes. I have a smaller NET that I take to church with fewer notes, however, I love the NET app with all the notes.

I love Bibles with notes. They are one of the reasons why I love my Companion Bible (Bullinger). The knowledge gained from notes brings the text alive and provides the means for greater research into the truths of God. In my view, a Bible like the NET Bible is more useful than a cross-reference edition. I also love that this Bible is in hardcover which appeals to my love for more classic-style books.

My only KJV is a cheap economy Bible, so the translation obviously isn’t my main squeeze, but some passages read nicely in the archaic english. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

WOW..that’s crazy…Io have a few study bibles but that more like a commentary - & just that …lol
