Bible Reading Challenge - Episode 119 - Zephaniah 1-3, Psalms 9 & 11, Proverbs 11

The Lord sings over his people. We forget that singing is a holy thing. Language itself is musical. There isn't really an unmusical way to go through life. It is a part of God that he has given us to use back to and with him. We are exhorted to sing his praise many times throughout the scriptures. Indeed, it has always constituted legitimate gatherings of his people.
The prophet Zephaniah, even as he warns of God's wrath and jealousy, also promises a future restoration marked by this holy singing. The Lord gets to expect these displays of love from us because he loves us first. Do you love the Lord? Sing praises unto him in the community of his people!
