yeah even if they had to make it taller and thicker…i would rather one column but its the best note taking bible i’ve purchased…i also like my nkjv interleaved bible as well. those are my top 2 favorites.

oh how i wish they would’ve made this with the same premium leather as the wide margin. i absolutely love the layout and that it’s verse by verse. i’m a note lover so its perfect on the inside. i plan to do a chapter summary and maybe my favorite verse for the page on the top margins. my husband has the new premium wide margin and that leather is absolutely beautiful and smells amazing! i might have to get this one rebound.

Thanks for the review Tim. I’m one of those who loves writing in my Bible. I have the “Legacy Note Taking Bible” from Holman, and it seems pretty similar to this.

Hello Tim, I love the hard back cover. It makes writing so much easier. I am not a fan of the CSB, but I do like the cover. I purchased a copy of that small LSB you reviewed. Thanks for that review and all you do. God's best to you brother, in Jesus name.

Hooray for LINES! I don't take notes in my Bible anymore, but back when I did, this was such an issue for me. I cannot write straight to save my life. I know it doesn't matter. I feel confident saying God's not going to judge anyone based on how neat their Bible notes were. I just personally hated how it looked. We are blessed to now have all these options!

Another thoughtful, thorough review, as I've come to expect; thanks, Tim! Wow, this really is a well-designed Bible, and not just because it pushes all my buttons, though it does do that. 42 gsm paper? Two inch margins and a 9-point font? Could it be? It is! Black letter! Cool. Also, I love seeing references and notes separated - in the tray and out of the way in the lower right corner, like the ESV Omega, hopefully with a little larger reference font than the Omega; hauling that microscope around gets old really fast. Ok, here we go, last but definitely not least: a Smyth-sewn, paste down hardcover is just what the doctor ordered in a note-taker: It lays flat as a pancake from cover-to-cover, right out of that gloriously meaty and protective slipcase. If you're looking to journal or take copious notes, why would you spend lots of extra money for edge-lined binding - which, frankly, may never lay flat - in premium leather, yet, that's so floppy it looks like one of Salvadore Dali's melting clocks? That's cool for a reader, something to snuggle with in the big comfy chair, but not to take notes in, ya know what I mean? Now, lets put that back, grab several copies of this one and have money left to buy pizza and pop for everybody. Yum! Better grab a set of Mr Pen highlighters and some Pigma Microns while you're at it. This is gonna be fun, because this is the right tool for the job, in my opinion. That blind guy did a great job on the stamping, too, don't you think? Why, yes. Yes, I do know what blind stamping is. That's why it's funny. Anyway, this was/is another good one, Tim. I appreciate and value your inforned opinion. I do have one question: who ya gonna give this review copy to? Your child or your wife? Ok, that's all I've got. God bless you, Sir. LSB wide margin might fit your bill. 1.333 on the outside. But wide gutter too. So, I can put references and alt translations on the inside, and use the outside for commentary proper.
