Love this cheap little bible! Feels like holding a paperback in your hand. Great for reading in bed and holding it with one hand. I keep a handy size thompson around close in case I want to check some references or something but this is the bible that I read. Have the thompson in all 3 sizes and a few other study bibles but this is the one I always grab to read. Now for studying a particular subject I might grab something else. I cant believe how cheap it is! best bang for ya buck IMO.

I had the Windsor for awhile and then gave it away, it's a fantastic Bible that compares in quality to much more expensive Bibles.

I just received this exact model yesterday, except mine has a zipper and thumb index. I love it, totally, one of the best bibles I’ve had, perfect proportions. Only negative is, the cover is too stiff, but I can have it rebound (with a zipper of course), so that could turn out to be a plus.

I haven't seen a calfskin one, but there hardcover and blue vinyl Windsor bibles are nice, I have bought a few for people, you can turn your clam shell box into a slip case, I do it to most of my boxes, nice review

Looks like a cracking wee Bible. I use the Cambridge large print and love it,but the Windsor looks like a great bible and great size too. Sometimes I feel the Cambridge large print is just a bit to big to take to work for reading at break time. Great review.

I own many bibles, from Schuyler and Cambridge to very inexpensive paperbacks. The Windsor is my favorite every day Bible. The size is perfect for carrying in bag or to church or reading non bed. The font is certainly not large but very easy to read, verse by verse and enough open space on page for my 60+ eye to follow and read. I prefer a black only text and do not like the pronouncing marks in some bibles which make it hard to read. Yes the cover is stiff but for some reason I am beginning to prefer that, or even hardbacks, to my floppy goatskin bibles. The paper feels different to me than the paper in my Concord, which seems thinner and the edges curl. I have bought several Windsor’s, some from Jongbloed and some from Belarus and they are both great. I have many study bibles but love a plain reader Bible and this is my favorite. Very highly recommended!

Thank you for the review. By the way, it's actually only an 8 point font. That 9.6 font is a misprint on the website, which was from the days of the old Windsor text. I have 2 of these bibles.

@@BurtonBibles I know. I found out thru another channel. When TBS re-did the Windsor text about a decade ago, they completely changed the print, old Windsor used to be the same as the Emerald text, but they wanted an upgrade. So they made the text block smaller but much cleaner.

Hi Andrew I hope you don’t mind me coming back to you, I have had TBS confirm to me that the published information is correct, both the Westminster and Windsor are identical 9.6 font. Your information may be confused with their Classic Reference Bible which is indeed an 8pt font and taken from the Cambridge Concord reduced.

@@BurtonBibles they are confused. Get an old Cambridge Cameo bible (well known 8 pt. font) and compare the text block with the Windsor, and you will see what I mean. Identical text size.

Check this comparison with the Westminster font at 8 minutes 14 seconds (Westminster on left and Windsor on the right) ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6XJXpeYe5uMjqM ... if anything the Windsor text looks better.

Hi this particular Windsor is printed in the Netherlands. Yes it is a KJV. The TBS are known for their adherence and support of the KJV. God bless!

Unlike CBP bibles and some premium Cambridge bibles, TBS bibles are not edge-lined. Does this make TBS bibles fall apart easily?

No it certainly does not! A good vinyl paste down should last many years if you like after your Bible. My Cambridge paste down lasted 20 years and only recently separated at the spine. Still fine tho, and I used to pack my.inside cover with notes and cards etc.

Hi Alex, in my humble opinion yes it’s a better Bible and fantastic vfm. But if you prefer classic old school, then you may prefer the Emerald!

Burton Bibles thanks for the reply. I have the Cambridge large print and reading wise, I hate it because all the words seem squished up and no bible word list. Is this a lot better and easy on the eyes to read?

Hi Alex, compared to the LP I would have thought it would be a lot worse as it’s a smaller font and less bold. Depends what you find easy to read I guess. The Windsor is a nice crisp clear digital font but it’s not large or bold. 🤷‍♂️ God bless!
