Verse 11. Job really suffered but persevered through it all. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. That's so encouraging. These are tough times and these are confusing words. p.s. I voted for Thessalonians. Maybe Daniel sometime...?

Verse 8:" You also must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the Lord' coming is near." I struggle with patience but God's word keeps me hopeful. I look forward to seeing all of the goodness that He promises.

@@kacinicole pray about which book to do next then it will be easy. If you pray about it you know you will be doing God's will and not your own. He will show you the way. And I can't wait!

Thank you for talking through verse 15. My husband died of cancer and I went through this questioning, but ultimately realized how his illness and death brought many people closer to God and he was saved and raised up eternally when he died.

Patience can actually give you an attitude of anticipation for each new day. If God is going to do what is best for you, then his plan for you will be accomplished on his schedule, not yours. Keeping that in mind, you can actually become excited about waiting for him to act, anticipating what good thing he will work in your life that is just right for you at the present time. God Bless you Kaci

James 5:11 because it gives me much hope and faith to trust that even in the midst of current trouble, i know that God is still merciful and kind to us enough to help restore us.

James 5:15 I am working on growing my relationship with God and I feel like maybe I don't have the faith enough to reach him. I feel like I'm failing in this because like you said we don't get the answer or response we are looking for or want. But it's not what we want, it's what God has set up to happen before we were even born that will come to pass. But I pray to accept and never lose faith in Him regardless of what comes my way. Thank you for the video.

I lost both my brother and mom this last year, ten months apart. My dad and I prayed in faith with all our might that God would raise them both up from comas. God chose instead the raise and take them to be with him instead. I had the why. Your video has really encouraged so much with that area of struggle as to why. If we ask anything in his name he would do it.

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" - Don't let the politics of today fool you, the only way to create a good and holy society is combatting accumulation of wealth, and instilling egalitarian christian socialist principals in the people. "All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need." follow the principals of the saviour, live a life of frugality and charity.

Could someone clear this up for me, please? -- No one has been able to answer this properly for me.. When we are called to have *faith* in prayer, and are told that faith is what has, numerous times in the bible, been the key to healing, miracles, and the like, what are we to have faith in *exactly?* I know it's obviously God, and it's easy for me to have faith that God CAN do anything..and WILL do it IF it is His will. But that's where I get confused.. logically sometimes it simply isn't God's will to heal that person & etc. and I don't know if me realizing that is hindering my faith. It seems there are so many people from the bible and present times that pray with confidence that someone WILL be healed -- and that person is healed because of their faith.. but how do they know?... How do I have confidence that God will do it? When I don't actually know?
