What I think God really opened my eyes to was that we need to aware of the that can evil can come out of our hearts and that we need to look with in ourselves and make sure our hearts are right with him. God is concerned with what comes out of us.❤

yes the context of that verse is all about the tradition that human made not the commandments of god..Some religion claim that verse is the proof that the unclean food or animals like a swine of pig can be eaten..

Hi jackjack! I love doing bible study with you. I have two favorite parts, we definitely need to check the posture of our hearts. And I also like the syrophoenician woman. Please keep doing your bible study videos! You are my favorite to watch doing bible studies. So question. You plan on doing full gospel bible study, what is your plan after that? Do you plan to keep going? Long term goal maybe the whole bible? I know that's a lot but I'm just curious!

One takeaway from this chapter: The Pharisees were so caught up in their traditions they didnt have the thought to understand where others are coming from Questions that came from reading this chapter: Did they actually have demons in them that Jesus removed? Other thoughts the lord shared with me in this time: Some people thanks God when their hearts are far from him What goes into you may not defile but what comes out has an impact to defile.

I have questions. I have been asking Jesus for answers on if watching horror movies or darker tv shows is sinful, cause I am a long time fan of Halloween and horror. I also smoke pot, and I have been struggling to find out if I should quit or if it's not bad. But that verse that said its not what goes inside of us that defiles us, but what come out. Does that mean I'm okay w/ pot and horror?? Pls, pls reply. Xo I am a new learned of Jesus. I have repented many, many times. And a lot of religious people put fear in me, because they act like we have to follow so many strict rules, but what I get from the chosen show & bible is all we need to do is repent and believe in Christ. Am I correct? I love your videos, btw!

To repent means to turn away from the sin not just asking God to forgive us and we go on with doing what's wrong in His eyes We should also look into ways to stop doing what's sinful by creating boundaries eg if you struggle with smoking you can start by limiting the things or pple who make you want to smoke etc It's not an easy journey but it's doable just don't put pressure on yourself...let go and let God

I pray and read a chapter every night. I can feel that I am changed by my different mindset and opinions and just how I see things. xo

The cursing is sth I used to do but I have slowly stopped..It's just about being concious and you'll realize you'll stop yourself mid-cursing till you don't do it anymore.The fact that you're changing is proof enough that you're on the right track 💕

@@Elsie_64 Thank you!! ❤️💖✝️ Yes, the show, The Chosen really helped me grow close to Jesus cause the way they did it, just filled my heart and soul with so much humbleness and warmth. It made me want to pick up my bible and study it. I even memorized the lords pray and I say it every night before I sleep and a few times during the day. I haven’t even craved pot whatsoever. But, I truly believe Jesus and God helped me quit. Cursing has been a lot tougher to quit, but I try and correct myself as much as possible. Like, saying the lords name in vain, I’m trying to teach myself to say oh my gosh, or, oh gosh. xo
