I'll be the odd person out here, as an atheist with a deep love of theology from all facets of the world. I truly appreciate your beautiful animation and story-telling. I firmly feel that a lot of the work done in the bible (Old and New Testemement) was amazingly rendered here, and made a lot easier to digest for anyone seeking to do so. As an agnostic, I totally agree that this is super well made and easy to digest, helped me understand Christianity through a whole new lens. Yeah, except the only problem is the story still doesn't make any sense. It might be accurate to what the bible says. But if you really think about the narrative of the story from god or the devils perspective, it makes 0 sense. The story is horribly written and constantly contradicts itself even from the start. If you think about it for more than 10 seconds you realize god is a pretty big peice of shit and Satan was probably somewhat justified in being like "wtf". The excuses I've heard for the contradictions is " he works in mysterious ways. You cant understand his divine reasoning". Which is BS because if a king is in power and you say the same thing to justify them going bat shit crazy you wouldn't think it was right. The whole book is just a story anyway. Some parts are amazing, some non sense. It really does come down to just " I have faith" which to many means nothing. But if you truly think this mythology is real. One small detail though. God never deceived Satan. In fact, God even explained all His plan and called out Satan's plans through scripture, and Satan knows scripture almost all too well. But backtracking on his plans would mean he admits they're futile, and we all know Satan is too prideful for that. It was not just in the beginning but all the way through the end Satan's pride was his downfall, by believing that he and his plan were greater than God and His plan. Satan is quite literally fighting against destiny.

I have to say, a well done video. I was raised Christian, now basically agnostic and avoid religious things because I'm sick of listening to people preach or otherwise trying to shove their religion down my throat. Yet while I don't like being preached to, I DO enjoy LEARNING about religious ideas and beliefs. Almost skipped this because of the preachy videos YT has been throwing at me, but really glad I didn't. Ended up watching it all the way through and commend you on the ability to (I presume accurately as I did spot test a few citations) tell the stories of the Bible here without coming across as preachy in any way, shape or form. Is it possible that maybe you're not so much sick of actual Christian theology and instead it's really the culture surrounding the faith that's shaped your view of it? I'm a lifelong Christian who studies the Bible regularly, but that doesn't stop me from heavily criticizing Christian culture and media (I hate yelling and preachy videos too, so I lean toward TheBibleProject and chill theology podcasts like Let the Bird Fly and attend a church that preaches the Word with no other external agenda). Honestly, with all the politics and sensationalism thrown in, it's gotten pretty bad. I used to say you don't have to buy into Christian culture just because you have faith, but these days I'd say that much of Christian culture can quickly ruin faith and it's best to just keep things simple.

I'm no longer a Christian, but having practiced it and read the scriptures, there is no shame in asking for guidance. By asking, we acknowledge God and his wisdom and pray that he will offer us clarity in our time of need. Alternatively, those who do not seek his enlightenment will likely stray from the past. An act of vanity and pride casts them down because they do not seek the advice of the Lord and believe themselves to better know what is best for himself. As they say, pride cometh before the fall. Long story short, do not be ashamed. God is here for all of us, whether we choose to believe in Him or not. He watches over us and grants us praises through direction, wisdom, and strength. All we have to do is ask Him.

I was skeptical for way too long about all of this. But I used to get sleep paralysis and hear demonic growling behind me right out of my eye site. Something told me to read Rev 3:20 and in my desperation I called out to Christ. I instantly felt as if a hand was placed upon my head and I was flooded with an overwhelming sense of love and peace. 2 months later I got sleep paralysis again and I heard the demonic growling behind me and suddenly it was like a portal opened up in my room and the Lamb of God himself stood before me and the demonic growling instantly stopped. The light around Jesus was so bright he was silhouetted so I couldn’t make out any specific features but he was holding his hands out. And I seen my spirit hand reach out to him and I instantly fell back to sleep. It was wild. And still blows my mind thinking about it.

Agreed that it's a cool short film, but to say from the bible is a bit of a stretch. The vast majority of this narrative comes from theological interpretations and extra-biblical writings rather than a direct biblical accounts. I mean, just as an example, not once does the bible ever even claim the serpent in the garden was Satan. The interpretation that the serpent in the Garden of Eden is Satan originated from a combination of later biblical writings, early Jewish literature, and early Christian theological reflections. This association was not explicitly made in the original Genesis account but developed over time as religious thinkers sought to explain the presence of evil and temptation in the world.... Same goes for most of this story. The bible itself only mentions "satan" 55 times, usually without any backstory, and "lucifer" just once. The only mention of Lucifer: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!" - Isaiah 14:12, KJV Typical passage involving Satan: "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost..." - Acts 5:3 not a lot of backstory..

This was a profound work! I’m 50 years old, a regular consumer of KZbin videos surrounding Christianity and a consumer of scripture as well. I’m blown away by what you’ve produced here! May I add an important outcome of Christs “finished work” on the cross. While “Satan masquerades as an angel of light” his true character was revealed and his lies about God were exposed all at the cross. @@heir8095 the video is quality but the theme and pretty much the story in whole are not in the Bible. First off, the red demonic characterization. Lucifer is an angel of light. Not was. Read Job 1 real quick. Does it sound like Satan and God are having an all out fight for man's future? What does satan even mean? Adversary? Enemy? It's not a proper name. Lucifer is never referred to as a satan in the Bible. This is a storyline added outside of the Bible. He must have read the 'Fall of Satan' thinking it was original Biblical text. I am by no means denying the Bible or questioning faith. The story's wrong.

Same here. So many things I needed to be reminded of. This video strengthens my faith and hope. I need to see this and be reminded of these things. It helps to remember that Jesus was a man, he understands our human experience. He understands temptation, fear, doubt, and pain. Sometimes when I look at the world and the way things are going I’m overcome with fear, dread, anger, and confusion, but mostly just fear. And I often feel guilty or weak, for being so fearful, so doubtful, do overcome with despair. And I want to improve in that area. I want to feel faith and boldness, hope and courage all the time, but I’m human. This was a good reminder that God understands us. He knows how our minds and bodies work. He made us. I don’t have to feel ashamed or guilty for the times when my mind and body are weak and filled with fear. I only need to call on the name of Jesus and ask him for help. I’ve accepted his gift to mankind, his death on the cross as payment for my sins. I’ve got to learn to rest in that. I’m forgiven. My soul is eternal and I’m going to be with God for eternity. Everything that’s happening on the earth at this time is according to plan. We’re not in this battle alone, and we already know that we win in the end. We just have to keep faith, accept the gift of God’s son Jesus, and he will bring us through the battle. Im not saying it’s going to be easy. I’m just saying it’s going to go exactly like it’s supposed to go.

Job has to considered one the most profound stories in the Bible. A game and a wager. How was Satan able to attack Job? if he was such an example of man of God. The hole in Jobs hedge was of his own doing. He "feared" his children were not sacrificing and he would do that for them. Job had no business sacrificing in their name. His sin was he coveted his children and disobeyed the command "each" is responsible for their "own" sacrifice. Interesting it's clearly evident, yet Satan does not point out Job;s weakness to mock his opponent. God being the "alpha and the omega" was and is the players in this most mind twisting writing.

If we have true free will, then we would be able to obey all of God's commands perfectly. You might be doing what you want according to your own standards, but that's easy because you can always bend them as you see fit. Maybe you just don't want to obey God, but you just said you have free will, so you should also be free to perfectly obey him in thought, word, and deed, if you really, really wanted to, right? Try it for a day. If you succeed, then I guess maybe you're right and you really are free. But if you fail, then your free will is only an illusion, you're a slave to sin, and all Satan is doing is fueling your delusion so that you continue to reject salvation and view God as an enemy.

No - he was not jealous of us. He was never jealous of us. He was jealous of Jesus. Unfortunately not many people understand this theology. Satan was jealous of Jesus in heaven, sinned in his heart and introduced sin into the heavenly realms. Because of this, was cast down onto earth - his prison to await judgement. In order for God to "take care of" and rid His creation and dominion of sin and death and in connection Satan, God created the feable man and through mankind He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to defeat Satan and death and bring everlasting life. Read Ezekiel 28:12, spoken by God Himself, and ask yourself where in the bible do you find God referring to man in such a way? In the bible, anything good attributed to man, is through Christ only. Satan already had eternal life, he was so perfect, the bible had describe him to "...sealest up the sum..." to convey his glory. There will be no grace for the gentiles after the rapture (infact they will be unable to repent because the holy spirit will leave and he's the one responsible for convicting us 3.that the holy spirit is the one basically holding the fabric of our reality together (in the sense that when he leave demons will beable to Manifest themselves much easier 4. Im a Christian, but a horrible sinner. I've been fleeing from what i was told years ago from a pastor that said he heard from God, that i would soon be a pastor myself. I hated that. I tried to walk away from that so many times. I tried to be what I wanted to be, instead of what God wanted me to be. I honestly don't think I can ever find the courage to talk to people about God and Jesus, but I've found myself at times defending my Lord. I'm 36 now and I've possibly exhausted all the roads I've traveled to get away from that. I may think I have one road left to try, but I really believe if it doesn't involve Christ, I will not succeed. This video just gave me the inspiration to put God in my new work and try to see if I can help at least just one person turn to Him. Maybe I can use my talent to put God in the spotlight and bring others to Him. Satan thought he was immortal and so he believed that no matter the outcome of his actions he could not die. What he didn't know is that God has the power to create fire capable of destroying spiritual beings. When God cursed the serpent of Eden and through him Satan and his angels he understood that a death sentence had fallen upon him. But because Adam sinned, the earth was plunged into sin and under the dominion of Satan. If the Son of God had sinned the whole universe would have suffered the corruption of sin andwould have been given to Satan. The stakes were immeasurable, friends. So for example of a moral implementation in an actual created world: You can't just kill a species to extinction like humanity was able to do so in the real world SADLY - the respective species would just respawn once more as nothing happened in a created world and if anyone would have an accident like a car accident or falling from a cliff you'd get resurrected at your last safepoint like in your bed. This is the difference between real life of a non created world VERSUS a created world with moral implementation - actual creators (in that case humans) do create. This is also why the concept of a salvation place called paradise with human focus was invented as a concept by humans for a particular reason: That is also the reason why God and the bible stories were made up as ideas of actual created world idea vs. the life as it is. To realize that the world is not as humans would like the world to be. "However, the fictional character follows the script to the letter without his own will." You do not understand that the idea in christianity of a duality of freewill vs. corrupted world is debunked. And they are additionally asserted to be hearers/listeners, *despite* of having no audio organs (ears) to register any air vibrations, such as prayers for real. This is like to claim squared circles or married bachelors. A self-contradiction and usually a direct denial of mechanical processes such as thinking and how said thinking process does operate mechanically. To hide this very bold denial standpoint *AGAINST* the very mechanical nature of processes in GENERAL (and the overview to talk about these processes) such as the process of thinking or the process of hearing or the process of watching and also how overviews of explainations do work in reality - you are going to find the most absurd and dishonest bad apologies for why this self-defeat shall just be ignored for some very vague tummy feelings and very desperate emotions. While that is the narrative I grew up with, that's not exactly the way various scriptures within the bible were written. The devil as such is an amalgamation of about 20 different demons - some angels and some devils - who are all treated by pop-christianity as one entity. Belial is the original devil in Yahwism (sometimes called ancient Judaism) and he is the personification of people being a leeching parasite on society's resources Satan is the job title of angels who are heavenly prosecutors (though a literal translation might render this as 'accuser' it is the legal term used in ancient Semitic courts) Samael is the head Satan in heaven, and the angel of Death mentioned in Exodus (Azrael is another angel of death) - sometimes seen as an angel, other times a redeemed devil, and sometimes as another name for God. Lucifer is a translation error made by the Egyptian Christian Scholar Origen (and later repeated by Martin Luther) in regards to the biblical passage that likens King Nebuchadnezzar to Hallel ben Schahar (a cannanite-god-turned-angel-in-Yahweh's-heavenly-courts who was a rebel upstart, cast to earth, and is represented by the planet Venus) Mephistopheles may or may not be the title of the overseer of hell Mephisto is a fictional messenger sent from the devil in a play called Faust (he's the one who wears red tights) Semyaza is the leader of those 60 angels who mated with human women to create the Nephilim and Rapheim Just to list a few. My point is that this story is built on a particular interpretation of scripture that makes sense until you look into it. Devils exist and contradict God but this manachaean narrative isn't in the original scriptures, but was built on top of them.

Lucifer has a mind just like humans and he can think, not like other angles where they don't have a concious mind, they just worship mindlessly. so, lucifer just couldn't accept the exsistence of humans and them being favoured by Allah. That is why he decided to lure all humans that live on earth and take them to hell with him to prove to Allah that humans were not worthy of their position. Even though Lucifer knew he will never win and he was going to hell at the end.

I've always told people that Satan wasn't jealous of God's powers. He hated the idea of creation of mankind and was jealous of God's love for humanity. He wanted God to love him like he loves us. Thats the reason and motivation behind his attempts to prove that humanity isn't worthy of his unwaivering love and empathy driven forgiveness that is offered. But only received under one condition in which you have to accept God as your one and only unconditional endeavor.

No - he was not jealous of us. He was never jealous of us. He was jealous of Jesus. Unfortunately not many people understand this theology. Satan was jealous of Jesus in heaven, sinned in his heart and introduced sin into the heavenly realms. Because of this, was cast down onto earth - his prison to await judgement. In order for God to "take care of" and rid His creation and dominion of sin and death and in connection Satan, God created the feable man and through mankind He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to defeat Satan and death and bring everlasting life. My friend there is nothing special about us, we are only special in Christ Jesus and through Him. We have to understand we are not the main characters of this controversy - Christ is.
