I'm in LOVE with the paper napkin technique for Bible journaling!!! I saw a lovely video by Miss Tracy (link below - not me - I'm TRACIE) and was inspired to try it in my Bible. Unfortunately, I couldn't find her napkin!!! Apparently, it's a seasonal Easter napkin. So....armed with inspiration, I created something that I liked. I think it's a great substitute. Obviously, the fonts are different, many of the words are different, mine has crosses on it, and the colors are different. But hey...that's what makes it unique!

Going to need to watch the how to print on the tissue ---- with napkins, if there is no one around to swap with, just too many to keep to just use one. I love the idea of tissue that you can print one sheet, etc.

I can read the text, but it's not "easy". If you want to clearly read the text, I would recommend just staying in the margins.

What is the brown protection may you are using? I can't tell what you called it. A craft ranger mat??? Where do you get it?

I don't understand why you would cover the bible page with tissue paper. you can't read what it says underneath.

I'm concerned about the ink smearing. I have an inkjet printer. Why didn't your ink smear?

At marker 18:20 (ish) I share about the ink pulling up a bit. If you are having too much smearing, try lightly spraying a workable fixative on the top of your page.

How does your printer not destroy the tissue paper?

I've never had a jam with my technique. If your printer destroys your tissue paper, try placing a piece of washi tape across the top of the paper so it feeds nicely into your printer.

Why would you cover the good news I mean is pretty don't get me wrong .I kind of was upset .the word should be spread not cover .would you like someone to graffiti your lovely home ? .Why not a notebook ..smh.i do bible journaling but I will need cover the words of my lord ..

Great question. Yes - I do use a notebook too, but I also like to journal on the page I'm currently reading. It's a great way to allow God's Words to sink into my brain and creates something that stirs up a discussion that I can use to share God's Word with other people. I have plenty of Bibles. The Bible is a tool...not an idol. It does a wonderful job of getting me into the Word and build a close relationship with God. Do what works best for you hon.

Bible Journaling Ministries perfect answer! This is one question I get often as well and people seem SO offended by this art style. Our bibles are ours to use as we see fit and spending time with the word, while creating beautiful pieces is a-ok! I don’t do full page cover ups, I typically add tip-ins, but many, many bible journalers have only a single verse per page that’s visible
