I needed to read that comment this morning in this day and age in our society of the world. With this coronavirus alot people are getting sick and bc of this virus alot people have passed away due to that awful situation. There are also people who are without jobs or concerned how long will the company keep them on the payroll? That last one is my concern been home from work since March 12th my job is inside office all i do is inside the office i am the receptionist. So i guess i am paranoid with so much uncertainties during this pandemic i am not sure of what. I was blessed with some many others who received the stimulus check. And i know there are people who are still waiting. However, was blessed to received it. But i must remain my trust not in my job, job benefits, the company, HR, president/vice of the company, or the manager of my department. My trust comes from the lord above and i ask god to strengthen me in this area of providing me to remain paying my bills and rent. Once again these are uncertain times recently the company stop paying for the bus passes. But luckily i was to buy a monthly bus pass. But i rather from that to stop then the pay check. But once again my trust is not in man but in god. I am not alone the lord is with me.

I love these videos. You gloss over slightly how much the Sanhedrin had to bend over backwards to have Jesus executed, since Jewish law couldn't really put people to death at the time; that's why they involved Pilate at all. Roman law had capital punisment. Jesus hadn't strictly speaking broken Roman law, so Pilate rightly thought the whole thing had nothing to do with him, but like you said, he caved to the pressure. I remember raising an eyebrow at the time, the council saying "our law cannot put him to death" and then, a page later, "and yet he must die." It really highlights a) how comically corrupt things had gotten by this point, and b) how much Jesus managed to piss them off by pointing that out.

Thank you. I've been reading up a bit more lately on what the situation was like back when Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. Pilate was a relatively new governor; up until recently, Judea had been a self-governing autonomous province under Rome, but a series of brutal riots had made the emperor put his imperial foot down, dissolve all local government and replace it with the Roman system (reading how the area was structured, it was inevitable that this would happen eventually, but let's not get sidetracked). Pilate was one of the people they sent to run the newly minted Roman province, and the whole rebellion would have been fresh in his mind as he took office. I imagine the Sanhedrin simply had to say the the whole area would explode again if this wasn't dealt with, and Pilate would have caved, because damnit, ensuring stability in the province was his job, and this was just one man. He tried to solve the matter without execution, he really did, but everyone in Jerusalem was still so damn high strung from the fact that they'd been annexed by Rome, and disrespect and criticism of their ancient customs (no matter how valid) was unwelcome to the point of mortal offence, even from one of their own. If Pilate hadn't allowed the execution, the Sanhedrin would probably have spun it as Rome taking their autonomy away one ancient custom at the time, and allowing this flagrant disrespect because they wanted to break all Jewish culture and replace it with Roman culture, and so on. I can easily see the arguments they would make - and, I imagine, so could Pilate. So people were whipped into a bloodlust, just like Jesus predicted they would be, and called for his violent death, just like he predicted they would.

Y'know, thinking about it, I imagine that's a large part of why Jesus chose to do it the way he did. The way this happened, the corruption and madness was laid bare for all to see. The moral authorities had called for a violent death. I imagine a great many people lost faith in them that day.

And on the first day Jesus rose from the dead. 17th of Nisan.on the Feast of First Fruits from the dead.For Christ Jesus is now risen as First Fruits from the Dead 1 Corinthians 15:20. This Passover Lords Supper is the fulfillment of the Lords Passover Supper. By one sacrifice we have been perfected forever and there is one continuous celebration Supper enforcing Jesus eternal redemption sacrifice. Do this Passover Supper in remembrance of Jesus sacrifice until Jesus returns in glory. Jesus prepares His table for us in the presence of our enemies with His Passover bread and cup and we can get the same benefits as Israel and greater benefits by participating in Jesus body and blood daily and enforcing Jesus victory

I think the way you divide Matthew doesn't make any sense (unlike most other Bible books which you did a great job on). The role as Messiah is introduced in chapter 16, not 14.

I see that you are trying to stay away from specific church doctrines, which is very wise decision. But I keep thinking that when it'll come to "future" prophesies you will not include views of preterism in your general description. I won't blame you, but it'll be a shame. In this particular video you've mentioned that Jesus will establish a New Kingdom, and then you said that He became a King. King without Kingdom? It would make so much more sense if you mention that He is King in that New spiritual Kingdom. !Events of the Old Testament times established a precedent which has been spiritually fulfilled!

@Izack Redmon: I had to check: they don't actually make the mistake here of talking about "reaching heaven": that's not really a Biblical idea. Instead they rightly talk about "joining His kingdom" by being baptised and following his teachings. We don't "reach Heaven". We join His kingdom, and Heaven and Earth are joined together again into a New Creation. I think baptism and following teachings are two perspectives on what it means to join that kingdom: a new start/deliverance and especially a new KING you submit to signified in baptism, and day-to-day obedience to that King by following what he taught.

I wish they would’ve touched upon the subject of the fact that Matthew says there was an earthquake after the resurrection and people rising from the grave, including I think some prophets holy men, and how Jesus told his disciples to meet I think in Galilee, or some location. Matthew include some of these things at the end of his gospel’s that are not present and I think any of the other Gospels, and seemingly almost contradictory at some points, I just wish they would’ve taken the time to touch on that or explain that

the gospels aren't gonna be the exact same, word-for-word. they're written by different people based off what they experienced and mainly based off memory and the Holy Spirit. the fact that they're strikingly similar in soooo many ways is evidence in itself. there are no contradictions in the bible.

​@@KimEinAspen :You don't have to be an Atheist to question people's interpretation and motives. Words, in and of themselves, are not real, until you "see" what they are. Always watch what people do and not what they say so much. Reality is in the doing. Jesus explains this in the Parable of the Sheep and Goats very clearly. Faith (words) alone will not take you to his kingdom but the words in doing his works will take you to his kingdom. You will reap what you sow. Be careful what you sow because you will see and live what you sow. In the end, don't get lost in the stories and miss the point of what Jesus is trying to tell you.

I would just like to ask why John the Baptist is considered to be neutral when he knows that Jesus is the promised messiah and even when Jesus goes to John to be baptized he said that Jesus should be the one baptizing him.

What happened to Matt 25:31-46? Jesus is VERY clear that He is NOT a "faith alone" kind of Savior. He expects love in action. Who said the bread and wine were symbols? NOT Jesus! Jesus prophesied at the end of John 6:56-57 after He multiplies the fish and loaves to feed thousands that we MUST eat His flesh and drink His blood for eternal life. Then 1 Cor 11:25-29, Paul reminds them that to eat unworthily and without discerning the Lord's body will bring them condemnation. Holy Communion isn't a parable. GBY I appreciate your efforts and talent.

Also, I appreciate your love of the Lord and the Bible. However, you know the Bible was not formed until almost the 400's. Before then, people came together for the Sacred Feast and a teaching or portions of the writings that would later form the Bible were read. Faith comes through hearing, scripture says. Chapters and verses were not added until almost the 1100's and I don't know when spaces between words, sentences, punctuation marks, quotation marks, etc. were added for easier reference. So, Catholicism & Orthodoxy( Eastern & Western) existed before the Bible.

When people say "JESUS," they really mean YAHUSHA. The popularized JESUS is not a Hebrew name, but less than 500 years old. Do you appreciate being corrected? Proverbs chapter 12, 13, & 15 show us many things about being shown correction. When we are so off-course that we imitate the customs of Sun worshipers, and avoid living as our Creator told us to live, we will find ourselves swallowing pig meat and meeting at Sun pillars on Sunday mornings, as if Yahuah changed. "Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear Alahim and guard His Commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For Alahim will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." Qoheleth 12:13-14
