I love these videos. They're great for when I drive to work or sit by the fire at night. If anyone reads this, I want to say, ever since I fully submitted to Christ, and listened to the Holy Spirit on a daily basis, I have seen a new renewing life every single day. I was saved a few years a ago but for a few months now I've been all in. I include Jesus in every decision and life has been amazing.

I can’t agree more. I rededicated my life to Jesus and God the Father after He saved me once again from my own folly, and ever since He inspired me to pick up the word every day, I have heard his voice more clearly after years and felt peace and joy that comes from the Holy Spirit and drawing near to Him. Faith comes by hearing! And not just to the unsaved, but it strengthens those who believe to hear it every day. Really, if all you can do some days is listen to the Bible app, God will use it to build you up.

Emmanuel Everett It’s great to believe but that’s not the only condition. You must live in Spirit and Truth and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins. 31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” John 8:31-32 5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit." Isabel G. As soon as you say “you must” it’s no longer the gospel message. We are all the thief on the cross, unable to do anything to be in right standing with God other than believing in His Son, Jesus Christ, to be saved. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of your own doing. It is the free gift of God apart from works, so that no one may boast. Should we obey and be baptized? Yes, absolutely! But is it necessary for salvation? No, absolutely not. “And he said to him ‘Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.’” If we can be baptized, absolutely we should. But it is in no way a prerequisite for salvation. Salvation is freely given by God before we do anything. How many countless people over the past 2,000 years have been born again of the Spirit and believed on the Lord but fell asleep before they could be baptized? Many! And Jesus assures us that they did not lose their reward! Salvation is a free gift of God, 0% anything we’ve done or will do or could do. It is unmerited, undeserved, unearned, unwarranted, only to be received by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. All we “must do” is believe on the Lord. His Holy Spirit will lead us the rest of the way, if our belief is true. Peace, sister.

After a few weeks of not reading scripture, not praying, just kinda delving into fleshly desires and getting myself into a rut. I wanted to pray tonight, but I didn’t know how. I didn’t feel comfortable and I felt scared because I knew I had sinned so many times. So I said, “I’ll start out small with something I like, so I can come back to God.” I wanted to watch these videos because I love learning, so I’d ease back into things. Immediately I began to cry, I felt God, and I repented. I know I need to be loyal to God all day and every day, not just when it’s easy. Thank you, Bible Project Team, for making videos that are comforting, informative and fun- I have a hard time with Biblical videos because my dad had traumatized me with them by trying to scare me into obedience. But these are amazing. They bring me back to Him: God! Yep, God brought me to this video for a reason. 8:15

There are indeed nice places in my country, but there are many things that are not (you had to see it if you walk with open eyes). If you are this generous against my country, why are you so grudging toward a Holy and Loving Perfect God? Ponder on the word Holy. It is not what people sadly use so often together with curse words. God being Holy means He is so Pure, He is so Perfect, He is so GOOD, that human mind can't even start to imagine. Once you understand that God's very nature is Love, you migth also understand His justified punishment.
@K.E.907 жыл бұрын
NICK COIN I see you are very angry at God. But let’s take point by point your claims. Of course i can only tell my point of view which will surely be not good for you. You know, you could get your peace if you would ask God for answer, but here are my answers for you. It is indeed not your fault you have limited human mind. It is not even a fault. When i said "human mind can't even start to imagine" i expressed myself this way, because year after year, prayer after prayer God never ceases to amaze me. There are times when i just sit at a random place, not even alone, on the bus, at work, and i think something about God, when i get to understand a tiny more part of Him, and it hits me, how amazing, how very much amazing He is. Try it. Thinking about God, thinking about how He is love just fills me with joy. It also hits me when i think about the sacrifice He made for all of us. I am not a superhuman (obviously, duh). I never stated i understand God. Certainly not every part of Him, but a few features. And i realize that there must be so many things that i can't even start to comprehend. We are all created with limited human mind (some more, some less). And as creations we also need to understand our role in this play. God is God. We are His creations. Suck it up because it is not going to change. If you bow to God you will understand. Do so honestly and it will turn your life into the right direction. About commandments to kill. This is a touchy topic. While i had my "fight" on this topic with God, this will not benefit you, i think. But i will share, and let’s hope. This is in very tight link with God's nature of Love. You see, God created hell also and He is not shy to talk about it. Jesus clearly said, whoever is not saved by Him, and Him alone will go to hell. "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 When i read from the Bible the part about King David (you know, from David and Goliath) I had many, many fight with God. And i say fight, because I was fighting. Obviously i don't stand a chance against God whatsoever. But I remembered differently from childhood memories, and now as grown woman, the story tasted different. But there were part when i read and i was like, "WHAT? Just what?" It was difficult to swallow. Some action doesnt seem justified. Some even repel me. But as a grown-up, I understand only God sees the heart. All i could conclude. Humans make mistake after mistake. We betray God left and right, we sin against Him. We ignore Him. We try to boss Him. Imagine that, some people see it their duty to bash on God on youtube videos. Yet God loves US. Yet He decided, He will offer sacrifice for US, that He will SAVE us. This is a shouting sign of His nature as love. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 About killing, because i know if i don't answer this, you will ignore everything else i just wrote about God, and love, and you will keep shouting it into my face. The Israelites saw many wonders, miracles, and sings from God, and they knew Him as God of ...really everything. The One and Only God. Yet human nature kicked in, when Moses (their human leader) wasn’t there for a couple of days to observe them, they turned away from God, and worshiped idols. They sacrificed to statues. Can you imagine it? It was like spitting God into the face. And God wasn’t happy about it. Those people didn’t see the end of the day. God is clear about this also. "You shall have no other gods before me." Ex 20:3 God has answers, if you ask for them. He will tell you plainly. But the first message He will always tell you. He loves YOU. He died for YOU. And if you come with a broken spirit to Him, He WILL forgive you. There is not a thing, God won't forgive you. There is no words, no curses, no mistakes, no action He can't forgive you. Everything is forgiven, if you accept Jesus sacrifice for you. He washed You clean. Does this offend you? Does the idea offend you, that God can forgive a murderer? It sure disturbs me, but it made me learn to humble myself before the Lord. I realized that i am no better than any from the 7 billion human who lives on this earth. I don't deserve any more God's forgiveness, than anybody else. Nobody deserves God's forgiveness. It is mercy alone, that we are forgiven. And nobody, not you, not me, not a priest, and not the queen is more worthy of forgiveness than the other. This is why I emphasized God IS love, because only Love alone can show this kind of mercy.

Me to shally I was starting to circumcise my self back to the law and trying to keep the commands and it left me angry at god and unfruitful. I do the law as the spirit leads me and not out of legalism but out of love for abiding in gods righteousness and as long as his spirit guides me to truth I will do so. Yahshua came not to abolish the law but to fulfill it. We are only justified by his blood the same way the Levitical Jews were only justified by the alter sacrifices of atonement. Galatians 5:3-4 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

I'm seeing a theme in the early church: failure to grasp WHO the Spirit is and WHERE salvation comes from. Paul is constantly reminding the people of the churches that the Law of Moses has already been fulfilled and the bedrock of our faith doesn't require circumcision or keeping strict rules, but only that we keep the two greatest commandments Jesus told us! Rules cannot fix broken hearts, ONLY the pure and unconditional love of God can!

But would you masturbate or practice magick then? Knowing Yahshua is in you and apart of your life, you're his vessel for the Spirit, would you then poison your body with blood, unclean meats, and defile it else wise? Most hopefully not. He is the Blood, and blood is the water of life. If you're clogging up arteries to allow that flow, you're stopping Him. Our body is mostly water, and like water we must keep it moving and flowing or else like a pond it gets murky and dirty. So will upholding Torah alone save anyone's soul? No. But with Belief in Jesus/Yahshua and practice as he did in Torah we will have a strong healthy life with him. God wrote the Torah and made our bodies, it is the manual to how we should operate, why wouldn't we read and follow it? ....side note; the Torah (Law/guide) was made and followed in Heaven by his choir of celestials and it was Inequity (lawlessness/no guidance) in Lucifer's self that made him firs rebel, spreading what me had in trades. So if his Angels are to uphold Sabbath and Torah, when did it become okay for Christian's to rebuke it? Never. Infact from a Judai or a gentile when you read all the works you see how they all lead back to one another and common themes that would have you realize that in the New Covenant it leads to the Old Covenant and visa Versa. Like I said, not a matter of salvation but it should Be obvious to anyone reading that we gotta do it all. Blessings to you and yours. Praise YHWH, for his Kingdom is at hand!

Le Voyeur sin is the transgression of God's Law. I agree 100% with you, Jesus is not only our example but the Power to enable us to manifest His example to the world. Jesus says, if you love me you will keep my commandments. I don't understand how Christians can go and change Sabbath worship to Sunday worship when nowhere in the Bible does God, Jesus, or the disciples give the "thumbs up".
@Sykko957 жыл бұрын
Paul's letter to the Romans, chapter 14 disagrees with you. Kasee, that's two thumbs up. It's made clear that the ritualistic aspects of The Law did not matter any longer, such as the Sabbath, or the Diet. On the other hand, by no means the 10 Commandments, which talk about morals, and way of acting should be ignored. That includes sexual purity, generosity, faithfulness, kindness towards people, mercy, forgiveness, and so on. Jesus summed it up, it's all about loving God above all else, and loving your neighbour as yourself. Here's the text from Romans 14: Whichever you choose to do, do it for God. And here it specifically addresses Sabbath and Dieting. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Christ be with you I have watched a couple of these videos now. the definition of Faith is of great concern, Merely believing that Christ died for our sins is not faith. Faith is the promise of our heart to obey Christ because of what he has done for us. It is why faith is not alone it must always Love (1 Cor 13:2) It is why it is perfected in works (James 2:22) it is why we must follow the law of Christ, walk in the Spirit to receive eternal life. (Hal 6:2-9) God will not be mocked. It is the who obey Christ who will be saved. (Heb 5:9) God bless you

Thank you for this. I am reading the bible for the first time and I struggled with this book a little bit. But, although I did not know this history, I was able to figure out the story and your video confirmed that I understood it correctly. Thank you again!

Another amazing breakdown. I was feeling a bit daft and dense in trying to understand this book but this has helped me so much, thanks guys :) Just a tip to other people, reading a commentary on the events leading up to the start of this letter, and the state of things in galatia, will help your understanding, and I mean alot. If you haven't read the book yet, certainly do this before you begin.

I am currently taking a New Testament class at my University. I will also add that I grew up Lutheran, but have been atheist for the last 4ish years now. I get questions from my family and friends all the time about why I'm taking this class. And to tell you the truth, it's because I don't know a lot about Christianity. Up until now, I really only knew the story of Jesus, to love your neighbor, and have faith in God. That's all. I will also say, that I haven't been reading the NT like I should. I don't always read what's assigned, but I often come to this channel for help. It baffles me that there are hateful Christians all over the world spreading lies about this religion and using it for evil reasons when, just watching these videos, I know that's not what Christianity is about. I came into this class knowing about Jesus (his life and death and some teachings), knowing you should love one another as yourself, and to have faith, and I'm exiting this class with the same outlook on this religion. Because that is the basis of Christianity. It's also about improving yourself. And you see that in this book. It's not enough to love God and Jesus, you have to constantly prune yourself and be the best you can be. It hurts my heart to see how blind these types of Christians are. If they would just read the bible a bit, they'd see the error of their ways.

What a beautiful message to start of my 2017! Thank God by reminding me through what you did here in dissecting the message that truly living out a Christ-like way of life is not by a set of rules to keep me aligned in Him but by keeping in step with the Holy Spirit who thoroughly guides us in our walk with Jesus. This is an amazingly refreshing insight. Again, thank you all. Great job as always! More power to your channel and God bless all your team!

This book is fire! I love it. It helps bring to light the differences you read in Ephesians and James around salvation. I don't think many people realize James was writing to Jewish Christians. I love how Peter gets called out in Anitoch and all the sudden, he aint bout that life no more.. Then Paul is like.. miss me with that nonsense. I also really enjoy how it explains why the Laws of Moses came to pass first place. Awesome book.

I’m learning so so much. This part even if it’s very very old it’s still true to these days, we are still engrossed in separating ourselves from each other putting so much negative energy to highlight the differences in us and others and cast people away because they don’t do like us they don’t look like us they don’t eat like us...etc and we forgot the only thing we are suppose to do and be “Love”. Love God love each other and treat our environment with love and care. wish more people were like Paul nowadays.

Love this. I gained more insight on Galatians in the last 9 minutes of watching this than in the past 40 years of my life. Sometimes it is difficult to intelligibly unpackage some of these epistles, and make sense of it, but this really helped me get the scope of it and tie up some loose ends in my understanding. Thanks so much.

Is that the gospel of your salvation?, How much love is needed to merit his blood?
@pngballar243 жыл бұрын
@@irsshill4502 His love merits His own blood? And yet, the way is narrow. Denko's quote does not negate salvation by faith, but 1) refers to a passage where Jesus issues a new command "to love one another" (echos of leviticus 19) and 2) suggests a line of thinking Paul follows in Romans when he says that by faith we "fulfill the law". Faith is not opposed to works, rather through faith we are saved, not simply to be lazy in a new heaven, but for God's intended purpose: His work! Hence Paul calls us "ambassadors", agents, and even the world at Antioch in Acts 11 recognizes those who follow the Jewish Messiah to marked by their service to Christ (-ianos often being a designation for slave/servant/soldier/party, thus christianos/Christians). In Genesis God gave man dominion over creation and Adam's sin proved a nuisance to that model - but Adam's sin did not thwart God's design! Hence we live with Jesus' life who has been given "all authority" (dominion) and through Christ we are restored to that place as God's co-regents on earth. Implicit in that position is the WORK of governance. Salvation begins now, accomplished in Christ, and we His chosen means.
