I've often thought Noel's backing vocals sometimes clashed or crashed into Liam's and detracted. This really highlighted that for me.

High pitched backing vocals were always needed. The music was too loud at times for just Liam. Noel always did a great job

Yeah sometimes during the early days noel did. Its mad to think they were gigging nearly every night back then. No wonder Liam's voice suffered especially with their lifestyle as well.

@@XxzaidooxX They were never needed, all you had to do was turn liam’s mic up relative to the rest of the band. Noel’s mic always seemed to have jacked up volume even tho he never sang with half the power liam did. Really strange sound engineering with the band a lot of the time
