She said Cecred, that’s beyoncé’s brand.Her video is about having discernment by listening to the Holy Spirit and being mindful about what you use on your body, face, and who you decide to represent by endorsing these products. Her target audience are young girls who are influenced by the beauty/ fashion that is pushed so heavily on Tiktok and Instagram. She is warning them that not every trend that seems good is actually good at all when you look at the spirits/ principlaites that are behind some of these brands. It’s not to say to be scared of every product on the shelf, but to not follow every trend that are set by witches and people not of God. The honey pot owner is a practicing witch and her formula was given to her by an entity she claims is her ancestor, this is written on every package. How could there not be demonic attacks on the people who then decide to use this formula? Even if you don’t believe there are spiritual consequences to using Ariana Grande perfume (who is an open witch, does tarot cards etc.), then what about the sheer moral principle of not wanting to endorse/ represent someone who is in opposition to God? 1 Cor 8, talks about this

I am insanely grateful for this. I came across the video and only watched snippets. In fact, I am very careful with which Christian content I watch, even if the creators may have good intentions. I have a lot of religious OCD and often these types of videos are not edifying, they cause paranoia. A better idea would have been to make a video on how to Biblically discern mediums of consumption, whether it is a product or television. It should not be do and do not do list. I feel similarly about whether or not Christians should drink Starbucks, I personally do not feel any conviction about it, but I will pray.

The Starbucks logo is a Siren. "A siren is a mythical creature that appears in Greek and Roman mythology, and is often depicted as a half-bird, half-woman. The founders of Starbucks discovered an image of a siren in an old marine book, which inspired the logo." It's not going off of personal convictions, it's looking at does this align with the Bible. That's discernment.

I understand wanting to support Christian businesses when possible. However, if one gets so wrapped up in the "right" products to buy it becomes like living under the Law rather than Salvation. People were so busy making sure they followed every one of the hundreds of laws, that they had no room for God.

Cecred is Beyoncé’s haircare line. The same video has been floating around on my feed as well, and I intentionally skipped it. Our choice to buy or not buy a shampoo is not how God judges our sin or how our salvation is achieved. It is not achieved by our merit at all! I would hate for someone (who may not know the Word) to feel like condemnation is judged from an unawareness of the background of a consumer good. But unfortunately, this kind of misinformation (that lacks the mercy and grace of the gospel itself) continues to stigmatize the Christian faith. Thank you for addressing it!

You also have to keep in mind that most celebrities are into witchcraft and satanic rituals whether you believe it or not, like it or not, know it or not. And they can work with demonic spirits/forces to enchant/curse their own products and clothing lines.

Gosh, I just watched that video and I can actually see her heart. I commented on the video and I was trying not to be critical but I felt like those were her personal conviction working through her own issues with vanity. I felt that she was conflating a few principles. But again, I can see her logic behind her claims. Her logic is that because these things honor, connect to, or in creation of idolotrous things then don’t use them. However, I’d love to hear your take on using OT scriptures as context for our own life. Since they are descriptive in that they reveal the character of God. And God does not change. It’s possible that God does has plans to prosper and not to destroy us. This is a principle that reigns true because God character is that he does not have plans to destroy us, even us NT people. Now, idk about her application of it. I was hooked on the concept of covenants. In that covenants in the OT seemed to be coming into agreement with something intentionally. And having conviction about something does necessarily mean it’s forming a covenant relationship but that this might be an issue God is revealing to that specific person. My take is that if it’s explicitly outlined in the scripture then we adhere to it, but if it’s something that can’t be specifically defined by scripture then the Holy Spirit will lead those where he may in their convictions. I mean people have been wearing Nike for years and Nike is named after a Greek goddess. I think we’d be hard up to find that most of our things are not created by believers.

I agree to a point, that's the point, most popular name brand things or anything commercially popular is probably made by a witch or warlock, its sad but true, im not going to say you'll go to hell for wearing nike but its important to glorify God in every way, and holding onto name brands is a form of idolatry, most people don't appreciate being rebuked and find it as "doing too much" but its a truth a lot don't wanna hear, this is coming from someone who used to be alternative and I loved all kinds of things I had to give up, so not coming from a place of judgment but experience, God bless you and keep you ❤

Confusion is of the enemy. You are spirit, soul, and body the Bible says if you need wisdom ask for it. The spirit realm is just as real or even more real than the natural realm. Certain products if dedicated to demonic powers can have the ability to affect one's spirit. I have been in ministry for years and people can become oppressed and possessed by using products that have been sacrificed to demon spirits. Pray about everything. Pay attention to the Holy Spirt he will never leave you wrong. Keep a constant prayer life. Be wise and use wisdom

I remember back in the early 90s we were told to stay away from Crest and Tide and a whole bunch of other products because they came from companies that were devil worshippers. At that time I was new to the faith and thought that was what I supposed to do. THEN I realized I don't know any of those people and we didn't have Google! LOL! It was ridiculous! Now if the Lord told her told her to leave that stuff alone then that's for her. Everything God tells us isn't for everyone. It might just be for you.

You should not use it because the formula was given to the person in a dream which is an ancestral spirit. A familiar spirit which is nothing more than a demon. Demons giving you, ideas pretending to be a dead family member. Anything that a demon recommends I would not want to use life is spiritual and some things we can use can affect our spirit. When can open doors to Satan unaware just by using a product that is not blessed. Spiritual understanding is so needed for the believer. Trust me you need to pray about using that particular product. In the long run you may have spiritual effects that will turn into physical issues at a later time. When we use things that are accursed it can bring things into our life that we normally would not have to deal with if we kept our home and bodies free from these products.

Sweetheart I thank you for opinion. There are some items that are accursed I like you trying to understand and share a view but, however life is very much spiritual. Doors can be open using certain products that are dedicated to demon spirits. Not everyone fully understands spiritual matters and it is clear to me that you are trying to learn. I have been in ministry for several years and people can be oppressed and possessed by certain products unaware. The Bible says my people perish for the lack of knowledge. Ignorance is not bliss. Understanding spiritual things and spiritual realms are very much a task you need to seek the Holy Spirit to teach you. Using some items dedicated to spirits other than the true and living God can create and open portals that allow Satan to come in and create havoc in your life especially if you do not have a prayer life and if you don't stay in the word of God. Satan actually would love you to bring accursed items into your home and have no knowledge on how it will affect you or your home especially if you are not a strong believer in the Lord Jesus. The scripture you stated that you felt the young lady used incorrectly I would beg the differ. If this young lady used a product and the Holy Spirit told her to refrain from using it and she disobeyed who knows if the product she would have used could have been cursed by a witch or warlock or some evil agent of Satan. Jeremiah 29:11 talks about the plans God has for our lives. If this young lady used that product and it caused some thing to happen to her unaware, then that product could have been cursed before it arrived in the store. It could have the ability to alter her life, if she was not a praying Christain. We are spirit, soul and body. Our spirit can be affected by the spirit realm just like our body can be affected by a common cold or germs. As a Christian we need to pray the prayer Paul prayed open the eyes of my heart Lord. Our spiritual eyes so we can better understand how the spirit realm works. Blessings

Here’s my bottom line…God looks at the heart and your intent for why you are doing what ever, if you are KNOWINGLY participating in any pagan ritual to reach an outcome that should come from FAITH in GOD then yes, you are guilty.
