A true Christian should feel honored and happy that a fellow believer in Christ cares enough to point out sin and encourage them to repent. It's okay to judge if you are doing so biblically and basing it on scripture. We all need that kind of support. That's why it's so important to know and understand the Bible so that you can understand, encourage, and refer to the word of God in your life and when you are biblically correcting others believers. I am grateful to all those who call out my sin and help me see the error of my ways. We can be so consumed in our own lives to sometimes see it. That is why it was so important for churches to be open during the pandemic because all Christians need that. Christians should not be isolated. Being challenged in the word by a Godly believer who knows and loves the word of God is a gift and should be appreciated. If you can't handle being confronted by your own sin as a believer then something is seriously wrong. I loved this sermon.

Dear Pastor Gary, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your recent sermon on Biblical Tolerance. Your message touched on so many struggles that families are facing today, especially those concerning loved ones who are caught between the teachings they grew up with and the influences of today's world. I was moved by your compassion and your dedication to addressing these challenging issues with both truth and love. One story you shared, about the young woman in your congregation who initially chose a path away from God's will but ultimately returned through prayer and repentance, truly resonated with me. Her journey back to faith, and the power of prayer in guiding her steps, is a testament to the strength of a foundation built in Christ. It is also a reminder that, even when we feel like we've lost our way, God's grace and mercy are always available to us. Your sermon reminded me of the importance of steadfast prayer and of the need to trust God's timing and His ability to work within the hearts of those we love. It’s a message of hope that, even in the darkest of times, God can reach in, stir hearts, and lead them back to Him. This story gives so many of us who may be struggling with similar situations in our families and friendships renewed strength to hold on, to pray, and to believe in God's transformative power. Thank you for courageously addressing these issues and for shepherding your congregation with such a compassionate and steadfast heart. Your words continue to inspire and uplift all of us who seek to live in God's truth. May God continue to bless you and your ministry. In Christ’s love, Jim

Thank you Pastor Gary for speaking on this topic. We need to hear sermons on these subjects that are controversial today so that we know better how to handle these situations in our everyday lives. We may know down deep what is morally right, but hearing a pastor say it validates what we believe and helps us go about putting our beliefs into action.

It’s a tough world we are living in ISNT it?! Crazy! Wrong is “ right” and right is “ wrong “. Jesus said “ Woe to them that call good evil and evil good”! I suggest you share those Scriptures of Jesus Himself especially. The woman caught in adultery and above one. God doesn’t lie or repent. We r told also to not take any Scripture away or add to it!! Pray always and ask Holy Spirit to speak thru you and then share those verses!! In OT AND NT it’s sin!! ❤Lord bless u

We/I have been agonizing over our son who is 21 living still at home but staying nights away w his 26 yr old gf. They smoke pot every day together. I do not approve of the relationship in my spirit and he knows. He knows our stand- mine especially. My husband is not the strong lead spiritually in our marriage and family. He will go along with me. But … It’s important for our son to know from his father as a role model how to live. He needs to be BORN AGAIN AND BAPTIZED IN THE SPIRIT w power!! Please 🙏 for our son to come to Jesus. We’ve been loving him and speaking truth. He pays his bills here too. It does break my heart-I take it personally that I’ve failed as a strong Believer and mom. 😢

@ShelovesJesusandElvis my heart goes out to you, and I will pray for you and your son and his girlfriend that their eyes be opened to truth and God would reveal Himself in their hearts. I know what you are going through. Our youngest daughter moved out at 18 to go live with her boyfriend. They've been living together 2 years now and try to slyly get us to treat them just like any other married couple, and I can't do that. I've given grace for 2 years and support so she would always know she can come home, but now their is a child involved, our grandson. We've set boundaries bc the boyfriend refuses to get married. We can no longer enable, or encourage this relationship. At this point I've seen wicked things in this guy, I don't believe it's someone she'd be equally yoked with anyway. I just pray for them daily. Pray for her to come to her senses to see that she deserves someone who will honor her the way God commands a man honor a woman. His actions toward her show he is just using her, and also loving the benefits he gets from us. We told her recently that we will no longer give him son in law privileges if he doesn't want to be a son in law. It’s sad the culture today. It twisted and perverted the word of God to suit its sin. 😢

It’s hard when someone you love and are close to is doing something you know isn’t right; they are Christian and they also know it’s probably not right but they continue. I like what you said at the near the end where we’re not to be the Holy Spirit basically it’s the Holy Spirit’s job to convict. It’s hard when you’ve been praying for something though for a long time and you don’t see it happening. And we can only be responsible for ourselves before God: we cannot be responsible for others…we can only connect.

REALLY good video. A subject in serious need of being discussed and taught on but rarely is. The only thing I wish Gary would've done is explain more on why Jesus said what He did. Time & space doesn't allow for a thorough exegesis. Suffice to say that Jesus took His place there as the final Judge. Many have speculated on what Jesus wrote in the ground. I believe He wrote out Deu. 22:22. As such Jesus perfectly followed the Law by not condemning her as the witnesses had not followed the Law.

Are you saved? If you have given your life to Jesus then you don’t need to work on you. It’s about what Jesus did for you by shedding his blood on the cross that saves you. We can’t work away at being good cause it’s not about what we do.

Great message. Lets also keep in mind all the heterosexual sin that is fully tolerated by society. From dating into marriage too many people dont even bat an eye to fornication and adultery but rather accept it as fully normal and acceptable.

The LGBTQ part is so hard though. When Jesus told the prostitute go and sin no more, she knew it was a sin. I don't think half the world then was having pride parades for prostitution and protesting against political anti-prostitutionists .. What about your own child?? You tell them you love them but want them to come to Christ. They won't trust you or believe that you truly love them, so how can they ever hear the word of the gospel? But i hear what you're saying Pastor Gary. Its just so hard 😔
