Tony, I went shopping and brought the Schick extreme to try. TBH I love it better than my Hydro 5. Now a dilemma, which one gets used for the regular shave over the Sunday shave?

Could it be that you found a better shaving experience because the Shick is labeled “sensitive” which i usually find razors that say “sensitive” are angled slightly less aggressively.

Yes, could be. I tend not to like the sensitive blades because of what you said in the initial comment. I was surprised at the performance of the BIC.

SUGGESTION (Only if you have not done it): Check how BIC Sensitive3 and BIC Flex3 compare and contrast. I found them to be equivalent.

I had used the Bic Flex 3 for quite some time now. Normally, I would try and get a package that had 4 to 6 razors in it. I got tired of going through so many of them in really no time at all, and I finally switched over to the Gillette Mach 3, since it really is a "real man's razor and handle" that I knew the handle would last and last. I went through the original blade, and decided to use the Mach 3 Turbo blades with the handle instead. I find it just to be as good or the same as the Bic Flex 3. And I am like you, I prefer the Gillette Foam Mousse over anything else to shave with.

@@averageguytested I would say maybe every 3 to 4 weeks. After it started pulling kinda hard, I knew it was ready to go. Plus, kinda like men's underwear, they always wanted to include one less item for about the same price you had been paying in the package. I am in no dire need for it now, but I may buy the newest Gillette Skinguard Razor to compare with the Mach 3 / Turbo. Have you ever used the Fusion 5 ultra sensitive cream that comes in the skinnier cans? I like it just as much as the regular Gillette Foam mousse. They both work extremely well for me and that's what matters!

The XTREME 3 has always been one of my favorites. If pressed I’d lean towards that razor. I’ll do the comparison soon. 👍🏽

I bought That Schick Xtreme 3 sensitive disposable Razor with The Black limited edition handle on eBay three weeks ago plus I have My Schick Xtreme 3 sub zero cartridge Razor plus I already tried The Schick Xtreme 3 sub zero cartridge blade refills on That Black disposable Razor handle And it fits since The Schick Xtreme 3 products has The same mechanism

Schick extreme 3 makes poor contact but I like the handle. The Bic is not a great razor at all and I prefer the 3 blades because 3 do not clog easily like 5 do as there is more space between blades. Good review man

Bic flex 3 classic is the best VFM razor in the world! With only 0,80 cents you have the closest and fastest shave without redness and also it lasts for at least 5 shaves. Much better even in comparison with gillette mach 3 or gillette pro-glide. (Although gillette is very good in shaving gel production)

I’m not a huge fan of BIC. I’d like to see them go toe to toe with the big boys - but they have the bottom of the market 🔒 so that’s were they’ll stay I suppose

After trying both of these, they do differ very much. Specifically for head shaves, Schk XTreme3 gives too much irritation, and clogs too easily. The clogs rinse poorly. The quality of the blades bending to conform to the skin surface is of no help and my sense is that it is part of the problem. As a contrast, the BIC Flex3 gives an excellent (head) shave, any clogging is easily enough removable, and only very little if any irritation.

I’m not a big fan of BIC razors - and I love the XTREME product line. I’ve never done a head shave tho - so I’ll take your word for it.

Bic razors are just awful in my opinion, I’ve tried all the flex razors and every time I use them I get cut to shreds. The microfins at the bottom of the cartridge is too small and they feel like hard plastic instead of elastic rubber, when you said it feels tugging on your lip that is because the microfins are not stretching the skin

Limited Edition Handle....AKA Someone messed up and forgot the green bits on the handle...I prefer the Bic Flex 3 over the Xtreme3, I think it's more down to the weight of the handle, since i like a heavy handle.....that's right.. use up that Gillette nonsense....then make the switch to Nivea....or do I have to throw a 3 pack at you...OR a 6 or 9 pack.....3, 3, and 3........Foam, Senstive, Deep.....they all come in foams.....

Dang it i have to find that new Shick yeah not that much into BIC they´re just alright if your out and forgot your razor and the only razor available is BIC then okay it´s usable oh my beard is coarse hair as well but blonsish/redish kinda beard funny as my hear is not completely BLOND 3 layers blond going darker underneath so i acturally look like a kid if i shave all my beard of i wont have the dark shadoishlook atleast not until day 2/3 oh forgot here we dont have Schick but Wilkinson sword...whaaat you liked BIC better oh no world´s at an end KAPAAAAAAAAAAOW....cheers...Peter
