I am going to try doing these every day. These exercises seemed to help today (yay!) for a front shoulder/bicep injury I have and has been slow to heal. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this PT Pearl! I went to PT for bicep tendonitis, but was not given these exercises. I"ll add them to my routine along with my routine on the Jen app. I really appreciate all the education you give!

Thank you for this! It's still illogical to me to "load it to heal it", but I trust your expertise and knowledge. My MD gave me exercises to do while I await my PT appt, which is still 3 weeks away, but he didn't explain the 'why' and I haven't been doing them because the pain is still so high (oh, the burning & quivering when it pulls!). I'll start with the isometrics you indicated and hope that I'm in less pain when I see the PT in 3 weeks. Thank you!

Aw I'm sorry to hear! Definitely don't do exercises that exacerbate the pain!

hello, i’ve been going to PT for this exact problem for almost 2 months now and i don’t really see improvements mostly because I’ve been playin volleyball still, I still want to play volleyball while in pt so what should I avoid doing at all when I’m playing volleyball to still heal my bicep

Hi! You can take a break from volleyboll without fully quitting, if you need that recovery :)

I was told by an orthopedic surgeon that I have a torn biceps tendon and that it will not repair itselfWith rehab I have to get it surgically fixed. Is there Circumstances that would make that true?Or was he trying to get paid for a surgery?

It always depends on the severity and the tear. Unfortunately, we can't say without seeing the MRI but you can always go to get a second opinion!
