BICESTER Town | Market Day & Pioneer Square Walk

Bicester is more famous for its shopping village on the edge of town, but here I explore the town centre and Pioneer Square. Friday also happens to be market day. The shops are a little later opening due to the Jubilee bank holiday. This short walk takes me through the market on Sheep Street and farther up, I turn left towards Pioneer Square. Walking through the complex I end up at Market Square.
Bicester is easy to get to. The M40 motorway is nearby. The town has two rail stations, Bicester North & Bicester Village with connections to London and Birmingham.
Nearby attractions include Bicester Village, Oxford, and Blenheim Palace.

As you say in your description Andy, I only think of the shopping outlet, I didn't realise there was actually a proper town there. It looks like a pleasant town, I like all of the pedestrian areas, plus of course the post box toppers!!! Have a great week - Nettie

Ive been through it on the train a million times but never stopped to have a look around. I thought it was just a giant retail outlet place and didnt realise there was a nice little town in there as well. Excellent video tour, thanks for sharing and have a great monday, cheers from barnyz 👍👍👍

Everyone in bicetsrr hates the shopping village brought nothing but pain and have recently bought the only football and rugby ground bicester had and turning ut in to car parks.
