And it was because of your videos that I switched full time to survival from Marksman last expansion. I found the playstyle of mixed melee and ranged fits me a lot better and is more enjoyable even though i'm still getting used to having to hit and run with the sped. corrections: new bis list, check the description 1:28 - crows and chakrams won't do damage through turtle, but can still get applied 3:44 - used against night elfs as well so they can't meld either, example being flare -> harpoon -> trap 19:15 - intimidation can also be used if the pet is in a disorient, like blind/blinding light/dragon's breath etc - other than that it can't be used if either the pet or the hunter is in any hard cc 59:40 - forgot to mention that roar of sacrifice will become unusable if the pet is in any hard cc like stun, fear etc etc - the hunter can be cc'd and it won't matter 1:20:05 - nvm fireblood still counts a dispell so you get hit by the negative effects apperently :(

Great guide, iv never played SV before but i will definetly be studying this over again for when i take the leap. Watched the whole thing through and even though i mainly play MM, the one golden nugget of advice i took and is working nicely for me now in RSS is Focus the off DPS not the Healer! Locking out half the damage made such a change to the game compared to my default thought of focus healer and deal with double dps! Thankyou Bicmex!

I'm totally new to Survival spec , but I enjoy the well rounded playstyle so to speak. You get some ranged time , some melee time and always shifting is the best way I can put it. This guide is packed full of tips I never knew before or just never thought of some things you mention. Like pet taunt keeping a player in combat before coming out of a CC.

Fantastic video - thank you very much for the information. Found out you can also use Shadowmeld, and the cat stealth to spin flags in BGs as well. I used to do this on my SV hunter in RBGs back in the day. I would sit in stealth the entire game spinning flags. - The cat stealth will also allow the cat the find hidden targets if you have your hunter ability track stealth on. The cat will just randomly go in a direction - which means there is a rogue, etc... in stealth nearby (the cat will then attack the target while the Night Elf player stays in stealth).

Always love the guides. Currently 1700ish on the solo ladder. About to spend my conquest and trophies and wanted your recommendation on gearing order. So far I received tier shoulders and chest from the vault. Figured I would get the neck for triple socket and weapon with conquest, then off set pieces with trophies, saving main set pieces for vault picks whenever they show up. Do you have any recommendations on priority?

i think as long as you spend your conquest on anything other than potential tier set pieces from the vault you should be okay

This is an awesome guide! Ive nevr player survival before and you showed me stuff I never even thought about before lol like being stealth with ur pet out. I've done it before on accident and never thought about taking advantage of it lol I was juts like o crap now my pets out and they know where I am! I have a question though. On ur addons it says that you use Gladius. I also used gladius but had to change to gladiusex and I just don't like it lol are you using an updated version of Gladius for dragonflight or know a way to fix it?

Great stuff. Super fun class. I didnt even like playing this game until I played this class. you play soooo fast. This is a great noob friendly video. How do I learn more .. I feel like am always slowed and I cant move around the way you do. I just realizxed the cool down on disengage is super short and thats what your using out the gate.... Your clearly whole other world. Ive got like idk 100 hours in the game and I feel like im strugging to get good at pvp. I completely underrated how good people are at this game.. I have full gear but am playing a worgen because I was a noob and Thought it would be cool to be a human during day and wolf at night. Ive thoughta bout changing class but I want to get good enough to troll with the extra sprint...

Hey great guide. it would have been nice if you would have added a section for your macros aswell. I have a question: How do you improve awareness in arena? For example even if i know i should scatter the hunter everytime my healer gets stunned, i dont think i would ever be able to notice and react fast enough to pull it off, there is just too many things going on at the same time. In general i feel like i get overwhelmed with all the information on the screen, even when just watching and not playing myself.

I tried killshot while coordinated assault is active on a training dummy but the dot didn't do 50% damage of my killshot.... I tried a lot but it's more like 10% damage from the bleeds... Bug ?

I wish I could buy a melee weapon to do survival in arena. My MM currently uses a 424 gun so I would feel like I'm underpowered until I can get spare conquest points to buy a 424 melee, which won't be until all my gear is 424.
