BICOL EXPRESS | Creamy and Spicy Bicol Express | Easy Recipe | Kusinerong Kapampangan

This is a well-known dish in the southern part of of Luzon, using coconut cream, coconut milk and a lot of red hot chili. One cup of rice is never enough when you have Bicol Express on the table.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 kg pork belly
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 whole garlic
1 big white onion
3 tbsp shrimp paste
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
12 pcs red thai chili / siling labuyo
12 pcs green thai chili / siling pangsigang
1 can coconut cream
1 can coconut milk
1 cup water

Sa Bicol at kapag nagluluto ako nito, sobrang dami ng sili, to the point na halos parang yun na ang gulay nya. If in case di kaya masyado yung anghang, pwedeng gumamit ng siling haba, pero damihan pa rin as much as possible.

Had a video-call cooking date with a friend. Nagluto mi together and ate the dish together. In the end, together sad mi sa CR having mild diarrhea from the coconut milk. Overall, great recipe. Felt very connected after the call kai in sync jud mi from start to finish.
