In this video, you will learn how to make a bicycle topper, and bike cake design. Bicycle cake is suitable for kids and adults, girls and boys.
I have also given you a brief overview of the steps of filling and covering with fondant.
I used buttercream for the grass.
To prepare a buttercream:
One egg white
Seventy grams of powdered sugar
Put them on the heat of Ben Marie to dissolve the sugar in the white egg, then Place egg whites and powdered sugar in a stand mixer bowl. Attach the whisk and combine ingredients on low until the egg whites reach a steady state.
Add in your salt and vanilla extract
Add in 100 grams of unsalted butter room temperature in chunks and whip with the whisk attachment to combine.
Add your drop of green and small of yellow food coloring. Whip on high with the whisk attachment for 8-10 minutes until it's very white, light and shiny. Taste the buttercream, if it tastes like sweet ice cream then it's ready!
