Nice video! I gotta return to that trail…looks like they did some pretty significant work there. (Sorry, just noticed these videos are from 5 years ago!!! And yet they appeared in my feed today?? Regardless…great video)

Just curious, I live a few minutes from the trail and want to bike it down to Bethlehem. Did you camp on the trail " stealth camp" ??? That's what I'm looking to do.

Yes, we stealth camped the entire time. The D&L Trail offers endless places to camp. We had no issues finding camp spots, until we got down to around New Hope, It was a rainy day and we just kept moving south, until it was just about dark, So in New Hope we camped in a park next to a picnic table, definitely camping was probably not aloud, but nobody bothered us. I find that if you pretend like you know what you are doing, other people will just assume you know what you're doing and won't bother you while you're setting up a tent. You will have no issues camping on this trail. Also in North Hampton there is some trail construction going on extending into Catasaqua. If you keep riding the streets that parallel the river you will find the trail again where it picks up, Its the only part of the Trail that is patchy at this time. Once you clear Catasaqua, and head into Allentown the Trail is well marked again, leading you into Bethlehem and beyond. We made it from Black Diamond Trailhead north of White Haven to Bethlehem in one day, 72- 76 miles, and camped right along the trail. In the morning we woke up and rolled a couple miles south finding a 3 sided Lean-to with a roof that we would have camped in. If I was to ride this section agian, i would be aiming for that Lean-to. Hope this info helps you out, see you on the trail.
