Bicycling with Baby - Episode 1 - Burley D'Lite X Single Trailer

Welcome to our Bicycling with Baby series! Our baby Flic has just turned one, and we've just unboxed and built our new bicycle trailer by Burley. (www.Burley.com)
In the video I ride out on an easy 10km traffic free bike path called the Centurion Way in Chichester, in the South of England (where we have just moved to from London!).
We show you briefly how easy it was to put together, and give the Burley bike trailer it's first run out... as well as Flic's first ever cycle.
The plan is to ride as many of the cycle routes in this region, building up distances and hopefully soon get on some bike tours back in Europe and all over the UK.

I take my daughter for rides all summer in that same trailer. She loves it and it pulls very nicely behind the bike. On flats you don’t even realize it’s there

Make sure she wears a helmet and you are careful in turns. I’ve unfortunately tipped it 3 times now. She still rides in it… but obviously be careful, I wouldn’t let her ride no helmet if there are any sort of turns. One of those tips was just a zip zag.

Finally got her to wear one so we dont mind going on roads now. Agree tho its very important. However i have tested the trailer without her in, very rigorously and only managed to get a wheel slightly up. This trailer is insanely well designed

Cheers Phil! It's approx 12kg all in, so pretty light considering the sheer build quality and size of it. Couldn't be more impressed so far. So nice to ride with. Need to find a weekend free to do our first overnighter now and definitely keen to do a big coast ride to brighton and beyond
