Made this mistake this week, asking over and over again when I'll get a job. It got to the point that in one spread, my four advice cards were the devil, 6 of swords reversed, king of cups reversed, and the moon. Oops 💀💀 My deck was basically screaming at me "everything will work out when you SHUT UP AND STOP WORRYING!!" 😂😂 I'll cleanse my cards as an apology

I agree. Consulting the cards repeatedly on the same topic is a waste of time. The last three times I did this I drew the same cards even after shuffling for more than ten minutes! Now, I'm putting what the cards told me into practice.

Excellent advice, Brigit! I like your suggestion that we give ourselves time to understand and digest the reading, then attempt to apply the insights from the tarot messages in our life first before we redo the reading on the same question.

you mean as a seeker? of course! you can always pose your question to another reader. however; i would reccomend sitting with your given reading for a few days - sometimes, it takes time for what you've been given to come to light!

So, If you decide to ask a daily self reading early in the morning to help figure out what kind of day you will be having is that even a proper question? and is that considered asking the same question over and over?

Nope! Because every day has a different outcome, daily readings are fine and a great way to learn tarot! Asking the same question over and over doesn't matter when the context is different, and in this case, literally every day is different!

hi i am beginner of tarot reading, and everytime i woke up in the morning i do this tarot reading excercises for me to familiarize the cards (i only use the major arcana cards) because i am really having a hard time interpreting the minor ones. ok but this is my concern is it ok for me to ask my deck "what is your message for me today" everytime i do my morning tarot readings? thank you

Hi! Curious, how is your tarot journey after 3 years? I do know she had an advice to pull a card every day for 31 day and ask aoiy what you would learn about that day? I am new too but I am more drawn to intuiton and by feel of the cards. I did skim the basics of the meanings in a couple of books initially and from time to time.
