The Biden administration on Friday unveiled a final set of sweeping changes to Title IX, the federal civil rights law prohibiting sex-based discrimination at government-funded schools. The new regulations include discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. It also removes the requirement for cross-examination and in-person hearings for sexual misconduct allegations.

Define "discrimination" ... because I can assure you this will include just calling someone by the wrong pronoun by some people. I won't be forced to be a part of someone's delusion. Forcing people to take part in the delusions of others is a violation of people's rights.

Discrimination. The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people. I don’t think that using the wrong pronoun is a problem if you talk to people with respect.

0:59 Removing cross examinations... If anyone has ever seen the proceeding that happens on these campuses you'd be terrified by this. You're already presumed guilty when you enter, now you can't question your accuser? Which was already difficult enough of a task to get done...

Yeah, I can see where that can be problematic. I think they made everything even more confusing. As a woman, I could understand that if a woman was raped she would not want to be questioned by her rapist. On the other hand, so many are accused unjustly also. And I think this will be severely abused. I think they just complicated everything a lot more. Plus, I don't want to be forced to take part in someone else's delusions... like calling someone "them/they". They are mental for identifying that way, in my opinion, and I am entitled to not contribute or take part in that. Nor do I think trans women should be in women's sports. But hey, I guess my opinion will be against the law.

I can't understand why people aren't completely outraged by this. This change means that your child's school won't be allowed to tell a full biological man that he isn't allowed to enter the girls bathroom. Or your middle school daughter could be bunking with a biological male on a school trip. I am absolutely at a loss why this isn't ALL anyone is talking about

Instead of discriminating against Transgender people we can come up with solutions. I have been in places where there are men's bathrooms, women's bathrooms, and family bathrooms. In schools we can have men's, women's and one or two private bathrooms for kids that don't fit in either men's or women's category. You seem like a smart person. Put on your thinking cap an help find the best solutions to these problems without discrimination.

@@martinschwartz7342 The only people who have a prolbem with this, or have had a problem with ME in a decade, were all predators themselves, whose concern was that I had the wrong equipment and I was ruining their fun. I have therefore concluded that people who have a problem with this are just voyeurs and stalkers and have no legitimate concern at all.

The law was made that If women want to play a sport like football ass long as their is enough and interest they start a new league. They don't want to go by that because they know they can't put together enough trans to start a new league in any sport. So they changed the interpretation of the law That's dirty

There is no discrimination here. They can be QUEER all they want. But that doesn't give them the right to use the bathroom of their choice or to play sports on the team of their choice. Couldn't you see this coming back when they insisted that GIRLS be allowed to join the Boy Scouts? There is a reason we have two different sexes and another reason why they are kept separate in certain situations. Just because there are a (VERY) few Freaks who scream loud is no reason to abandon that common decency.

We are Americans. Americans are supposed to be smart enough that if all 340 million of us put our heads together then we should be able to come up with solutions that work without discrimination of LGBt+ people. For example, as well as having men's and women's bathrooms in schools and other public places, you can have one or two private bathrooms for people who are outside the traditional male and female identity. We have sports for disabled people. We can have sports for transgender people. Those are just two suggestions from one person. Imagine if all 340 million of us work together to resolve this issue without discrimination.
