It doesn’t seem like she can because when I was growing up my income and my Dads income couldn’t afford to finish paying for me to get through community college BUT we were also told by the state I live in that my Dad gross income alone was too much money for him and my two younger siblings to qualify for food stamps what good does his gross income do when that’s before taxes…so before taxes my Dad made $11 dollars too much for them to qualify for food stamps which is insane. My sister are next to nothing and you can’t feed her off $11 dollars a month and that was back in 2007 my little brother could literally eat 5 cheese burgers in one sitting and be hungry a hour later. He could eat $11 every time he sat at the dinner table. I chose to stay home instead of moving out so that I could help but if I hadn’t been there what would have happened?and then some how this girls parents are able to pay for her to go through a university college (I assume) plus it sounds like there’s two of them. Yet they qualified for all kinds of government support? I just don’t understand.

Ask the rich to return the bail outs, subsidies, and the bills for military and police protection of their overseas and domestic interests, tax cuts which workers don't have. Not to mention the excessive capital gains made from the houses they own due to government policy (not free market) such as extreme zoning laws. Also ask them to return the profits they made due to monopolies created under government protection (not free market). Also ask corporations to return the trillions the government spent on research (computers, medicines etc..) which they got for free (not free market). Also ask the boomer generation who benefitted from FDR new deal socialism (housing price caps, higher salaries ensured by decent minimum wage and labour unions, free education etc) and used socialism to climb the ladder and kicked the ladder behind them to return all socialist money they recieved. Afterwards we can ask these students to stop complaining.

@AsadoMao4 жыл бұрын
AbdulAzeem Omotosho yes there is competition. We have private universities too. And they charge like maybe $5000 a year. One of the biggest problems with American education is government backed student loans. You are absolutely right about that. There’s other factors that make American education expensive too, like the fact that everybody wants to go to America because everybody wants to speak English. So you have your average Joe competing with Arab sheikhs. So a university in a totally free market will usually favor the Arab Sheikh willing to pay $50,000. But the quality of education is great in European free colleges. Sure, we don’t have city-sized campuses, but we also don’t need to go into debt to get an education 🤷♂️

I understand that the number of school administrators has ballooned in both public and private schools from kindergarten through universities to the point that they now take around 20-30% of school budgets without contributing to teaching. In fact, the growth of that group is one of the main reasons that the cost of an education has increased so much over the last 30 years. But I don't think they should be allowed to administrate for free, they should be fired and their buildings given away or shuttered up. Since 20-30% of student debt is from the cost of those administrators, then that much debt should be wiped clean from students. But somebody has to pay for it, and one way is to lower taxpayer-funded school budgets to pay it back to the banks over 20 years or so. Or maybe the banks should eat it, because it's only 20-30% of $1 trillion over 20 years. What do you think?

STUDY SHOWS COLLEGES HAVE THEIR TUITION OVERPRICED and inflated BY UP TO 80 %. COLLEGES WERE FOUND To BE WORTH Billions of dollars and assetS and spending money like water. Democrats never stopped or held colleges accountable to show proof for why they raised tuition and getting the government to raise the student loans, grants and aid. DEMOCRATS began the government and the Dep4artment of Education to have taxpayers pay for and take on the student payments to college and their debt for grants, scholarships, and all the financial aid. This without making colleges show income need and proof and then just pay the colleges without any proof of need. Colleges raised tuition at an alarming rate every year without needing it. Colleges scammed students and their parents and all American taxpayers with their high tuition. IF COLLEGES had to take on the debt their tuition would be up to 80% less because they then would have to pay for it and fund the debt. This false tuition costs put students and parents and the taxpayers in debt to the tune of over 2.7 Trillion dollars along with scamming students and parents and the taxpayers out of billions paid to them PUTTING THEM IN DEBT. STUDENTS NEED TO REVOLT AND PICKET DEMOCRATS AND COLLEGES AND EXPOSE THIS YEARS OF THIS SCAM. OVER PAYING FOR AN EDUCATION.

And this is all because the Federal government got involved in student loans . When the feds guarantees a loan and the college has zero incentive ( responsibility) to produce a quality education this is what you get . Used to also be when you were looking at an institution , where to go to college , they would boast about their employment rate ( We have 97% employment rate for our students ) for their graduates , no more . The university could care less if you learn anything they get their money and they are done with you. Hence their Billion dollar bank accounts. Remove federal government from the equation and they will be held accountable for the sub par education they are spewing. Also, the lie everyone needs to go to college is more evident than ever when you get young people like this girl who thinks anyone owes her anything. If you can’t afford college ( without going into massive debt) maybe you should be looking at a trade school , where there is a shortage of plumbers, welders, electricians ! all have programs to teach you while you work it’s called an apprenticeship.

You're more optimistic than I. Ignorance can metasticize. I saw it when I lived in Massachusetts. It's a leftist's wet dream, since its virtually a one - party state. People like her continually vote for communists, dressed as democrats. They're too brainwashed to see that their one party state, county, and village governments are taking more of their income and creating more intrusive, unconstitutional laws. Problem is, she just doesn't see it yet because she has most likely never paid taxes. She thinks her job is to attend school, get that degree, and then lord over people twice her age who have tax returns older than her. The beautiful reality is knowing these twats will be turned down after their first attempts at beginning a career. Why? Employers are not impressed with your sorority or student government involvement. They want employment experience. They want a history of paid accountability, rather than social accountability. Getting back to Massachusetts, when the big, Marxist taxes she votes for will personally impact her, she won't blame the democrats. She'll move to and further ruin a once great state, like NH. She'll turn that state further left by voting left with religious ferver. She'll ignorantly blame republicans and the "evil corporations and big banks." Before long, she and her urbocentric, overly educated urban sprawling ilk will turn NH into a wasteland as well. I've seen this. They escape the effects of the destructive things they voted for, but take no responsibility. Again, they selfishly do so when their leftist fiscal and tax laws begin to personally impact them. It's another golden example of the sheer hypocrisy of the left: their ruthless greed.
