You can add 9/11 to that, seeing as they had foreknowledge of it and allowed it to occur. They were celebrating afterwards. @user-lv5bt3nt3r2 күн бұрын
People dont realise this, because the history is not well known and israelis go out of their way to keep it that way, but zionism in the late 1800s fuelled anti-semitism in europe. Because it allowed the anti-semites to claim that european jews were ‘disloyal’. This was THE main argument between zionists and non-zionists in the late 1800s/early 1900s. And it seems pretty clear how that ended up. Zionists claim that zionism is the natural outcome of the holocaust, but in fact it was largely the other way around. We are now seeing in real time why zionism is bad for jewish people.

I have a hard time believing that this is a coincidence. I consider it to be a neferious act from the Israelis in order to justify what happened afterwards. I would go as far as saying they knew exactly what would happen. They needed a good excuse to attack Palestine which would not have been justified at that level otherwise and will never be anyway under whichever law, religion or whatever. They sacrificed the people attending the festival for their own objectives. They weren't taken "by surprise". I think they were orders not to intervene. ‘Zionist’ Biden in His Own Words: ‘My Name is Joe Biden, and Everybody Knows I Love Israel’ March 19, 2020 “I am a Zionist. You don’t have to be a Jew to be a Zionist,” current Democratic Presidential candidate, Joe Biden, said in April 2007, soon before he was chosen to be Barack Obama’s running mate in the 2008 elections. Biden is, of course, correct, because Zionism is a political movement that is rooted in 20th-century nationalism and fascism. Its use of religious dogmas is prompted by political expediency, not spirituality or faith. Unlike US President, Donald Trump, or Bernie Sanders, Biden’s only serious opponent in the Democratic primaries, Biden’s stand on Israel is rarely examined. Trump has made his support for Israel the cornerstone of his foreign policy agenda since his inauguration into the White House in January 2017. The American President has basically transformed into Israel’s political genie, granting Tel Aviv all of its wishes in complete defiance of international law.

The problem that nobody is willing to mention is that, while not all Jews are pro Israel, most Jews DO support and identify with Israel. Even among my own circle of Jewish friends and colleagues (and I'm Irish living in Spain), I have experienced a certain tension or disapproval coming from them in response to my condemnation of Israel. Two of my Jewish friends - one I have known and regarded as a good friend since we were teenagers - unfriended me on Facebook. I was actually quite shocked, because both had always insisted that they were in favour of Palestinian independence, opposed to Netanyahu, etc. So the issue is this: If most Jews in the world identify with and support Israel, and support genocide, wouldn't this legitimize anti-Semitism itself? In other words, how can we confine our condemnation to Israeli Jews (98% of whom fully support the massacre of civilians in Gaza), if the majority of Jews outside Israel hold the same views?
@lawsonj392 күн бұрын
Nothing legitimizes antisemitism. It's certainly true, based on my experience, that a lot of non-Israeli Jews support Israel's attack on Gaza, but I also know a lot of Jews who are as opposed to Israel's policies on a spectrum from those who disapprove specifically of the Gaza genocide all the way to disapproving of the Israeli occupation of Palestine. As Katie says, Jews aren't a monolith.

There is a very good reason for the American Israel friendship and it goes like this, the American government of joint parties gives 3-4 billion in aid to Israel every year for no purpose, its not as if israel is struggling or suffering at all, they just get billions in American public funds every year, Israel then contributes through AIPAC multiple millions to each of the two main parties Democrats and Republicans, this was public taxpayer money that the political parties could never have had access to without first giving it in aid and then receiving a portion back as donation or cleaned money and this has been happening for many years, the term used for this is money laundering and the reason American government officials on both sides are always protecting Israel. This has always been about money as is with most religions money and power are the strength they run on and the same with most governments it all comes down to money and power.

Please do not ignore the involvement of British Government. It was the British Government who gave the Middle Eastern land where the Jews , Muslims and Christians lived peacefully together for hundreds of years. Until they decided to bring and build a European police station in Middle East. We have not seen peace in Middle East since the arrival of Europeans in 1945. The Middle Eastern Jews have nothing to do with Israel. We have Iranian Jews who lived in iran for over 2000 years and proud to be Iranian.

There was a time way back when christian islam and jew use to watch each others kids they worked along each other in markets they had dinner parties. What is going on was not always that way there as a time. It is very hard to hate your barber or your babysitter or your gardener.. The timeline is a blip of what was.

"We Jews have put issue upon issue to the American people. Then we promote both sides of the issue as confusion reigns. With their eye's fixed on the issues, they fail to see who is behind every scene. We Jews toy with the American public as a cat toys with a mouse." ~Harold Wallace Rosenthal, was Senior aide to U.S. Senator Jacob K. Javits

This discussion only touched on the issues that need to be probed. 1:50 Katie Halper "You seem to be saying, Harrison, that there was a time during the Cold War where it had a kind of logic but right now it doesn't make sense. ... " "You only have leverage if you actually use it." - But what exactly are the interests of the United States in the Middle East? - Doesn't control over the oil and gas and the Suez Canal given the U.S. leverage over its rivals? - Wouldn't another country having control over those resources give it power over the U.S. economy? U.S. imperialism wants Israel to be its leverage over others. That's why maintaining Israel as the sole nuclear armed power in the region is so important. Nuclear terror is hidden but it works. U.S. imperialism would also rather right its battles with U.S. armed allies and proxies. Motivating the American public for war is not easy. FYI: Oil reserves: The Middle East has the largest share of proven oil reserves in the world, accounting for 55.5% in 2023. Oil production: The Middle East produces more oil than any other region, accounting for 31.5% of global oil production in 2023. Gas reserves: The Middle East has 40% of the world's proved gas reserves. Gas production: The Middle East accounts for 18% of the world's gas production. Given Harrison Mann is a former U.S. Army major and executive officer of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Middle East/Africa Regional Center it would have been helpful for him to tell us home many arms dumps the Pentagon maintains in Israel and what wars they are being kept there for? --- For all those who haven't seen it, here is what Joe Biden said in 1986: “If we look at the Middle East I think it's about time we stopped, those of us who support, as most of us do, Israel in this body, apologizing for our support for Israel. There's no apology to be made. None. It is the best 3 billion dollar [a year] investment we make. Were there not an Israel the United States of America would have to invent an Israel to protect her interest in the region. The United States would have to go out and invent an Israel.” kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIqvf3aZgct8oa8

15 to 20 years ago work took (more like forced) me to Yemen, Jordan, Oman, UAE. Equipment installation and training that took weeks to complete at several locations in each county. Talked with many dozens of people and nearly all said they absolutely hate Israel and all knew it wouldn’t exist without the millions to now billions of dollars always being pumped in from / by USA. Most Americsns dont know that many 1000s of Iraqis fled to Yemen. I was able to get around without much problems because ... I said I’m Canadian. Only those that have been to that region know more of what life is like and what the people think.

I think it’s important to challenge the presumption that Israel under Netanyahu would not have the ability or inclination to react/act the way it has in the Palestinian genocide. Billions in US support would not change the right wing Israeli government to change their motive, they will just change tactics.

People just don't even know what the hell they're talking about to say that people who are criticizing Israeli who are mostly European and not Semitic you get labeled as anti-semitic for criticizing Europeans when the Palestinians are actually semites there the ones so but yet it's totally okay to talk bad about them which is actually anti-semitism but not okay to criticize Israel who are your Europeans it's none of it makes any sense and I'm sorry I'm not the smartest person in the world but it's so blatantly obvious and if I can figure it out anyone can figure it out the American politicians can figure it out the American Media can figure it out so that tells me that they're all complicit and they all need to be charged with war crimes as well I mean covering up or crimes if one of my friends kills someone in the cops come to me and say you know what happened and I lie about it I would be an accomplice would I not so how come our media is allowed to see what's going on and then turn around and lie about it?

After the United States created Israel as their first off-shore nuclear weapons base, said to be for Middle East oil domination, the first thing Israel did was attack Egypt. These young people weren't around when that happened and the global retaliations it created. The Jewish people I talk with say there are two kinds of Jews, traditional and Israeli.

*1 of 2. This is how you always should vote worldwide-* We must fully criticize and _always vote_ *against* (& less authoritarian than) both the Republican *and* Democratic Parties- including *Tim Walz, Kamala Harris,* AOC, all of the squad, Bernie Sanders, Edward Markey, Mark Pocan, the justice democrats, & all other democrats. Vote in every single election- at all levels. And also _endorse or anti-endorse,_ in all elections you can, for outside your voting jurisdiction. For _all_ public positions. And this same strategy applies against the one or more party-monopolies in _all_ countries worldwide. Real progressives will never be Democratic Members or Democratic loyalists. Never vote for _any_ Republican member or loyalist either. If no candidates for a position fit that bill: -Where _write-ins_ are permissible, always write-in an anti-authoritarian person; -Where write-ins aren’t permissible, always vote uncommitted or leave the ballot blank. This will continuously reduce the power of _all_ authoritarian parties in the party monopolies: Until our task is complete. Repeat strategy for all new authoritarian parties that emerge.

Sorry, this view is quite shallow. Look into the history of Jewish settlement in the area from 1850 onwards. The British and French land allocations after WW1 were a bad start. That said, Palestine was a Jewish and Arab state. You can thank the PLO for galvanizing and building the toxic environment we see today. The Israeles are acting ruthlessly in Gaza, innocents are dying or being terribly disfigured. This is in response to the terror and hatred delivered to Jews thanks to Hamas, an army that hides within the innocent population.
@pcno28322 күн бұрын
Israel aided Hamas for decades. Netanyahu admitted it in 2019, but it was under both parties. David Bengurion said in 1955 that after having their land stolen out from under them, the Arabs had no reason to ever make peace with Israel. Golda Mier said in 1947 the the IDF was no better than the NZs. Sure, both Islam and Judeaism are based on violent, h8-full teachings, but it was the seizing of land from its legal owners by the Zionists that radicalized some of the Palestinians.
